Well, he can sell that for a few bob in a few years!

(Serious post for a minute - Polish fans are absolutely raving about young Cashy‘s performances; I have a colleague from our office in Łódź visiting this week, and he is proud in defeat of his Team, and sees many positives, including the young Right-Back from Aston Villa).

He certainly has and credit to the new boots he started wearing...he must have left the old ones behind and Dennis has found them

I hear he is struggling to get in the starting line up for Villa with Ashley Young keeping him out.

Would you take him back? Aurier is only for one year and not sure he would want to stay next season, he's also in his 30s , so we need a long term replacement. I would put Cash above Williams though.

Do we get a sell on fee if he goes somewhere else?

Apparently, Chelsea are considering making a bid for him.

Personally, I'd love him back here. Him & BJ with another year or two under Cooper would decimate some opposition flanks.

He was just back from injury at the weekend and was on the subs bench - not sure it's the case of "losing" his place at Villa.

Cash would be a great signing if we stay up, but I'm not sure we'll be able to afford him.

Aurier has only just turned 30 though so I'm not sure he's one to write off yet.

If we are relegated Aurier will be off.
He has signed a 1 year contract extension subject to us remaining in the Prem.

I think walker was out of favour at the time of that rumour but yeah, he finished the season really well so i wouldn’t have thought they’d be going for him.. but if they were looking for a new right back, it could mean matts is not as strongly in their plans?
nothing behind this other than that rumour I saw 2 months ago so it’s prolly all crap and Marty’s staying at villa!

Getting dropped to the bench for bigger games and Villa are rumoured to be in for a few full/wing-backs in this window.

Be interesting to see where he goes from here.

He would cost way too much in a position we don’t need to strengthen IMO. Better off spending money elsewhere
Apparently Chelsea are interested - could be that Villa targeting full backs because they expect him to leave?

Hypothetically speaking, if it was 11m for Montiel and Cash who would folk choose?

I'd go with Cashy, more because he's one of us, though I'm sure his fee would be a lot higher than that. I'm not sure how much there is in it as players though, which might point to the supposed 11m fee for Montiel being a decent deal.
