Indeed. You choose your best eleven.
Best eleven is relative though, depending on all sorts of variables. Of course long term Sangare will (probably) be in our best XI.

The best eleven for one game may not be the best eleven for another and for this particular game the best eleven might not include a player who's really only just arrived in the country.

Ok, the best eleven for the next match 🙄

It's not like he expires if we don't use him quickly. If he's not quite ready then he should be eased in. If he is, then great. Danilo was what, £18m and he wasn't rushed in.
It can do more damage if you just throw them in. People made a judgement on Chris Wood straight away based on him being thrown into a system he clearly didn't have a clue how to play.

I'm not saying we should wait a month but they should know how we play before they are thrown in.

Exactly. The expectations on this guy's shoulders are already massive without throwing him in at the deep end after one day of training with his new team mates. Setting him up for a potential fall.

Sangare will ultimately become one of the first names on the team sheet, but it sounds like he only came back from international duty the other day and Cooper hasn't had much time to work with him.

Wouldn't be a surprise to see him on the bench in that case. Understandably so too.

Given how next week we're likely to get pumped (as does everyone else in the league) by Man City, I'm not sure this game is one for taking chances. Play those who know the system and are ready to go from minute one.

and he shouldn't be, young, first time out of his country. Sangare is well established, a ready made player not a green horn. He just goes out there and do what does, win the ball, get forward and pass it to a teammate. Football is a simple game, don't have to make it complicated.

Not that different. Danilo had two full seasons in the Brazilian league under his belt. Sangare has never played in the Premier League.

So I guess we're to expect more criticisms of Cooper if he names Sangare on the bench. Sigh.

We are playing at a level where every fine margin is exploited, it's not League One.

Wonder if Guardiola signs players and tells them crack on - no it takes them a year to look comfortable in his system.

I reckon having Jones as the ref might go well for us. After the controversy around his VAR decisions at United, he must be wary of giving any controversial decisions against us, because of how it would be perceived.

Of course he is from Merseyside, so might just be a massive pr1ck.

Forest are magic on and off the pitch!
I have serious concerns about this, might be?

I was going to say "must be", but then maybe we have the odd supporter, on this very forum, from Liverpool, who saw the light and joined the rebel alliance.

A team of Forest's current standing can't afford to splash £30m on a player after courting him for 18 months, and then not play him.
I reckon he will start!
Not sure thats the case mate. If Cooper thinks he's ready he will play, if he doesnt he wont.

You would certainly expect him to play a part but Cooper very rarely introduces a new player straight into the starting 11.

I hope he does, but not sure he will.
