I would temper the figures with a dose of "Its spurs after all".

I've just read an article on the Athletic about Jack Grealish who they tried to sign over the course of 2 or 3 windows, the opening bid of £3m plus Josh Onomah didn't work, loads of other proposals put forward were rejected but Villa would have sold for £35m, Spurs went as high as £25m on deadline day and failed to get their man who as we know has subsequently gone on to win a treble with Man City after they signed him for £100m.

The order of things I'm seeing is He stays, a Chelsea or someone else swoops in when a price is set and gazumps them and lastly him joining spurs.

Agree on the stadium. With the amount of fans unable to get tickets filling a 40k stadium is 100% achievable.

If we brought back kids for a kid and expanded the away section then we could reach 45k.
The outgoing Chairman said we could have sold 50,000 tickets for many games last season so 40-45k is probably required, 50 with kids for a quid!

I think that's a bit harsh, he was specifically asked how he'd do at Tottenham if he was to go there and he was very complimentary.

What do you expect him to say, "No he should stay at Forest"?

"Brennan is a fine player who'll do well wherever he is, but it would be disrespectful for me to comment on potential moves.".

Easy.

I see you didn't include this part though...

“He’s his own person and player, a different type of player. I think he’s just got to go.”

I can't say I've seen his interview, but according to BBC he said this specifically to answer a question on if he'd do a job at replacing Harry Kane. BBC don't attribute him as saying "I think he's just got to go."

When asked if Johnson would fill Harry Kane's place at Tottenham, Page said "For me I wouldn't even talk about the Harry Kane situation and going to fill that. He's his own person, his own player, he's a different type of player to Harry. Whatever club he goes to he's going to add a lot of strengths."

I stand corrected then, was basing it off the BBC article. If he did say that then yes it's a step too far.

I think it's obvious Johnson will be happy going though, that's not what will hold up the deal, it's whether Spurs or anyone else pay what we're asking.
