It’s ADIDAS (again!) and KAIYUN SPORTS not MACRON, not BOXT, or UNHCR

I’ve just seen this, it’s a list of last seasons shirt sponsorships.

Realistically we can probably demand 3-5M, if we still want 10+ we will be without a sponsor for another year.

Well I've ordered a couple off a certain app/site. For a fraction of the price, what have you got to lose.
The authorities would tell us you’re aiding illegal/criminal gangs. The more cynical amongst us would say you’re depriving the state of their slice of VAT.
Either way it would be interesting to hear what you make of the shirts when you get them.

Even accepting what those clubs at the bottom got would've been enough to cover Lingard's weekly wage.

Poor business decision. Hopefully we won't make the same mistake this season.

Which is why in think we have gone with the matchday/training split with the hope of getting a total sponsorship package of ~£10m

We'd have to have a great season to be in a position to make £10m next year

So another year without would make £3.3m per season I've the first three seasons.

I looked on twitter and many fans of many clubs have bought from there with success.

I was told, the club wanted upwards of £10m last season.

And of course, as we know, didn’t get it.

Why £3-5m?

You'd be looking at teams like Palace, Southampton and Wolves surely.

£6-£8m.
You need several seasons in the EPL to validate the global 'eyeballs' that get you the better sponsors.

Everton get a larger sponsor because they have millions of 'fans' in the far East built up over decades.

Currently, Forest are globally unrecognised... whatever you think about it, its a fact.

I love how people are randomly plucking company names out of the air as if it will be a lightbulb moment for the club 🤣

"Oh yeah, we never thought of them, gerron the phone to em"
This is Forest.

They most likely didn’t think of them.

What about Speedo? Their HQ is in Notts. Could get some more leisure wear

As an ex employee of Speedo & their parent company - I would say that this is highly unlikely. They will want to focus on the competitive and fitness swimming fraternity.
The same parent company (Pentland Brands - Finchley HQ) also own Mitre (Nottingham HQ) Canterbury, Berghaus (Sunderland HQ) and Endura (Scotland HQ), and of those only Mitre would make demographic sense to sponsor a football team - but that would probably be a problem as Mitre also make football kits and have football supply contracts (or did when I worked there) with the FA Cup and the EFL amongst others.

3 year deal at £2m a year = £6m

1 year with nothing plus 2 year deal at £3.5m a year = £7m

It’s not as simple as just saying we should have had a deal for the sake of having a deal. I believe that the decision last year was made for sound reasons even though it looks a bit weird from the outside.

I said this in a post yesterday, doesn't matter if theyve lost out as long as the next deal although shorter is worth more which is what I think will happen.

Hopefully you're right but that's a pretty big gamble to have taken. If we'd gone down we'd have probably got 1/4 of what we'd get in the Premier League and we'd have basically turned down free money in the millions.

I am proud of the club personally, fully support the clubs decision to hard ball the sponsorship as the Forest shirt should be valued and it will pay off in the long term. Accept any old rabble and the next year, you'll get any old rabble at bargain basement price, and the next year... the year after...

And judging from those figures, the club is right when they say that Premier League clubs are selling themselves short in terms of shirt sponsors. If the whole bottom half took our approach the shirt sponsors going rate would double. We just sold a squad player with 1 year left on his deal more than we probably got offered in a shirt sponsor in the first year.

I can't believe there is so much controversy around it personally, although people were literally whinging non stop the other day about a shirt being released (that they've already seen), so why it suprises me I have no idea.
