We're safe, but that doesn't mean we just end the season with a battering by playing the fringe players.
Ending a season on a win really would boost the confidence of the players and us fans and show us that we have a squad now we can build on.

As much as I'd like to see Surridge given a proper start, you can't deprive Taiwo the chance to reach 10 goals for the season. He'll be hungry and eager.
Cooper signed 2 of my most disliked players ever this season in Lingard and Shelvey, but I'd still like to see the former get some minutes out there as he's almost certain to leave. Apparently he's been a real big character around the dressing room and helped team togetherness, so fair play let him have his goodbye minutes.

A bit of a morbid question, but do you think this will be the last time we see Brennan in a Forest shirt?

I'd like see Colback start otherwise I want a strong 11 and finish the season well.

Brennan may be off but I feel it should be for no less than 60 million.

I don't see Brennan going now we're safe. Perhaps if we struggle again next season and he has another good season personally. Although then we'd be looking for a minimum of £80m IMO and no that isn't a typo.

I definitely agree about Colback, given one last send off, which he deserves.

Se we paid £30m/£40m for MGW, so expecting the same if not more for Brennan in todays market is quite realistic I'd say.

MGW was unproven at this level. If anything that fee pushes Brennan's up.

I'd like to see us rotate heavily. Theres nothing to be gained by playing a strong team, no more confidence that can be added at the moment, no safety to secure, no gelling to do etc. It's all downside risk playing a strong team with prospect of injuries.

Play rotated team including players who have no future here to give them a shop window to impress in: Freuler, Shelvey, Dennis, Surridge, Hennessey should all be playing.

Is there rumours he’s off? I can’t see it tbh.

There seems to be one or two rumblings on Twatter, I haven't seen anything more concrete than that.
Also there seems to be a number of transfer rumours of right wingers floating around which might hint at it.
I don't think he'll want to leave though......he's with a team that he loves that's on the up, where else would he want to be?

This game is an opportunity for the team to play without fear of consequences or they could just be knackered.

Forest already have Wayne Hennessy, how many more do they need?

Johno departure speculation is based on the premise that to finance targeted buys we need to sell a vlauable asset , otherwise we'll breach FFP.

And we only have two or three players that could attract a substantial fee.

Johno could attract a fee of £50m+ and is more dispensable , as he is less suited to the new low/mid block style of play that yielded points at the end of the season.

I think we'll get one more season with Brennan here at least. He'll know himself that he's still got a lot to learn and at Forest he's guaranteed the space and opportunity in which to do it - so I can't see him pushing for a move now we've got another season in the top flight ahead.

He's got the raw potential and mentality to be a truly terrific player - but he's not there yet. Sure, you often see top teams splashing on exactly that potential, so if an offer which is simply too good to turn down comes along then I guess football will remain cynically true to form and he'll be off - but I can't see the player angling for a move and Forest won't be under any pressure to sell.

People have to stop worrying about losing key players, it doesn't happen to Premier League clubs. And if it does, you are earning an absolute fortune from it.

BJ isn't a well rounded enough player for the state clubs to take a punt yet - and REALLY, nobody knows EM's ambitions yet.

He has been reluctant to sell our best players ever since he has been here, he's not going to start now when he doesn't even need to sell for FFP anymore.

Opportunity to finish as not the worst promoted club and patch over the away stats so still something to play for!

Reckon they'll relax a bit and smash 'em. Enjoy the day.

Hope any ‘agent reds’ sitting quietly in the home ends get some footage of the away support on this one. Loved the Chelsea videos of Forest away fans from the home stands.

I'd go with:

Navas
Worrall, Felipe, Niakhate
Aurier, Yates, Mangala, Lodi
Gibbs-White
Johnson, Awoniyi

Danilo looked to be carrying a slight hamstring injury, so I'd rest him for this after a job well done. If Awoniyi, Niakhate, Aurier or Johnson are still carrying their respective tweaks I'd rest them too. No need to take any risks.

Surridge and Colback to come on from the bench for a good send-off from the fans.
