They were one of the best set of players I have ever seen but they will never be my favourites because they dived too much. I am not doubting their quality and that Barca side is probably the best ever but I can't ever like them.View attachment 19958
Andres and his little mate Xavi were reasonable
Hello Ladies, as well:If we are going for foreign player, playing in the UK, but not necessarily for Forest, then that big girl striker, Erling Haarland might just take the biscuit.
With >20 goals to his credit already, he has scored more than some clubs, including the Sheep when they were last in the top division.
And you know what... Man city don't even know how to use Harrland properly therefore are not getting the best from him yet.
People forget his incredible talent, always had the ability to turn any match into an exhibition, made opposition players raise their gameBaggio was another extremely cool all time great at that tournament. With his ponytail, Buddism and carrying Italy to the final. Very harsh that he's now remembered at the that one for a missed penalty. Think he played through injury in the final too.
Baggio is my favourite ever. At some point I’m going to grow my hair like his.People forget his incredible talent, always had the ability to turn any match into an exhibition, made opposition players raise their game
God yeah. I’ll look futuristic up here.
Futuristic? You‘ll have the locals looking for your flying saucer.God yeah. I’ll look futuristic up here.
Sums up Baggio to perfection.Roberto Baggio for me. Loved how he came across such a warm, humble, and respectful human being although he was such a huge football star, and how his calmness off the pitch matched his playing style on the pitch.
He could glide around everyone with a combination of technique, skill and pace. The way he judged distance and timing between himself and defenders to just brush them aside. Every touch appeared to be perfect. Then once through on goal, there was never usually much doubt. Not to mention his free-kicks. He could do it all.
So many magical moments over his career and one of the biggest was when, just like Stuart Pearce, he avenged his penalty miss by taking another one in a major international tournament and scoring. I had a huge smile on my face for him.
Also, he scored one of my favourite ever goals. The most incredible first touch as the ball arrives over his shoulder that deceives the goalkeeper, and the inch perfect long ball from Pirlo makes it even better.
