Great find AR. Some may be interested to know that at the back of the terrace, 2nd from the left of the downpipe below the bathroom window, the legendary Nottingham policeman, Tug Wilson, can be seen. His son is shown on the right of him.

Tug was a huge Forest fan (in more ways than one) and could always be seen in the same spot.
Here's Tug

Looking at the advertisements/signage looks 1980/81.

I had a thing about the advertising boards at football grounds. Came in handy when I was practising my lettering.

The fences were up when we beat Liverpool in the EC, Sept 78. They weren't in place the season before. So, obviously the image is after this time.

After more scrutiny, there's a kid at the front (above the letter V) who's holding a programme. The design has a yellow triangle on the bottom right corner. The season 79-80, had this design.

Yes,I’ve just checked some old programmes (only a few of the 79/80 season had this design)-I reckon the
photo was taken against Liverpool in September 1979 (Forest won 1-0).
Incidentally,at the time the old East Stand was being redeveloped.

Alabama do you know when this photo was taken ?
My guess would have been late 70's looking at the fashions. But I can recall folks watching from that window when I was a kid in the 60's.

There are a couple of people wearing what appear to be tops with the crest and Munich European Cup winners legend on like this guy

You can see the writing under the crest. That would put the start of the 79-80 as the earliest it could be would be consistent with Cloughie's comment of September 79.
