HmmmPercy has liked it so must be true. In Marinakis we trust.
I think why not,Why though?
It does give us options but I think Cooper is going to really have some headaches soon when it comes to keeping players happy.I think why not,
would give us a front 3 of out an out strikers in Awoniyi, Surridge, & Maupay. (Taylor will leave)
Dennis and Johnson can both play wider, or up top giving up plenty of movement and options in game.
Hungry?Hmmm
I have always said we needed 4 main strikers and have the option of 2 off the bench every game. I had expected a Davis type as the 4th but I certainly wouldn't grumble at Maupey. Different player, but can hold the ball up and link play very well. I wouldn't be suprised if he ends up being the main man.Would be a yes from me - has experience in Premier League and if he can chip in with 8-10 goals could be vital.
With the 5 subs rule this season having plenty of options can only be good for us. Look as the bench last Saturday it was very light of quality options.
I’m not sure SC is a squad rotation merchant-I expect him to follow his ‘next man up’ approach.I suspect the ongoing buying frenzy show that our approach this season is squad football - rotation and tactical changes from the bench. Last season, it was a very much a settled XI - I doubt that's repeatable.
