Definitely more Samba Sow. Experienced defensive midfielder with over 250 Premier League appearances for West Ham and Crystal Palace under his belt. 29 Premier League appearances for Palace last season.

Palace wanted to keep him, but he wanted a 2 year contract rather than the 1 year deal on the table. I think he'd be a smart signing on a free.

Yup! He played 30 odd the previous season at centre half fir palace too - he's actually played more in that position than he has at CDM, so I can see even more logic given Mbe Soh was our back up on Sat.

I'd be signing him more with CDM in mind (considering we lack a bit of steel there), but him being able to slot in at centre half is another bonus. Get him in.

Agreed, he'd be coming into the position we need (CDM), but think the two year deal he's after could see him progress deeper if we were to land him... Reading some comments from palace fans he sounds like a great character too.

Not EVERY player can be 22 and world class, surely you can see this?

We need more in midfield, its never been a debate, irrespective of yesterday. You dont honeslty think a pairing of Colback and Obrien is adequate????
