1) Surely there was never any doubt of a new contract for Steve? Could've just about written his own figure!

2) Despite being Australian, and the show running for three decades, I've avoided ever watching a Home And Away episode. And if you don't like that fact, don't bother coming the raw prawn with me!

Never watched a full episode, but always had time to give Alf a few minutes if he was on-screen as I flicked through, or have a quick tug over Isla Fisher too 🍆😍...

Remember at one point the castle marina shops had a Comet and Currys next to each other (not the same company) and a PCW over the road (same as Currys). The amount of people who at that time thought that Currys and PCW (and Dixons) weren't the same...

Not surprised Comet closed though, DSG always seemed to do a better job at the same thing and they were usually on the same sites.

The Dixons brand still exists online and in airports though I think, They did have Dixons on the high street and Currys out of town for a while. it's now all just Currys/PCW with a CPW concession inside too, which is OK I suppose.

Though last time I went in currys it was to try and get a macbook and after being around there with no-one seemingly interested (and it was in covid so I had to wear stuff on my face) in the end just walked off and got one from John Lewis instead lol, lost a sale there.

Was it the Summer Bay thing? My daughter, a sensible girl married etc and a midwife, persuaded her husband to go on a holiday to Australia so she could see them all in Summer Bay. Had her photo published in some magazine! My wife liked that, too, though she watched all the soaps. Is that the one that's just finished?
