If we don’t end up with an option it’s still Henderson’s choice where he goes next summer so if all we can get is a standard loan I would still go for it.

If we stay up, and he does well, then we'll buy him anyway. Shame if we can't trigger the loan but not much we can do. Myopic to a degree but it's access to a quality keeper that might just help us survive.

The club are clearly trying to bring people in permanently. I can only assume it’s much harder to complete a transfer worth millions than it is completing a free transfer in the championship.

We can only have two loans anyway, so the majority of our business this summer will be permanent deals. Shame if we can't get an option to buy with the Henderson loan, but either way we aren't in a position to turn our noses up at a proven Premier League quality, international goalkeeper.
Let’s be realistic, we’re going to need a first class defence and I’d be happy to see Henderson directing from the back.
