Hilarious. The Saudis who will Chuck you off of a roof if your gay (this is if their in a good mood) pass the test but our owner who was found innocent will have to be investigated.

Get f**ked. Don’t cry too much when we upset the apple cart next season.

Indeed-who the f**k are the Premier League to investigate someone who has never been convicted in a court of law?
I’m surprised the Premier League aren’t being probed themselves for allowing a cartel to form in their own
competition.

A point about ambition. In one of my first posts here I explained that the only reason Kominakis, a lifelong friend of EM and not a very rich man, has 20% of the shares of the club was to allow both clubs to compete in European competitions simultaneously. UEFA does not allow the same owner to have more than 50% of more than one club competing in Europe, so if the time comes, EM will just transfer 31% of the club to a trusted friend.

So, ambition was there from the start, in a sense.

Or to his son…

I have a lot of respect for EM, by no means do I think he's a saint but he's been targeted for years in Greece and he still continues to prosper. If nothing else it's a sign of the mans drive and mental fortitude, you can see why he's as successful as he is

Still wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of him though

Nobody as rich as EM is a saint, saints don’t become billionaires.

Nicholas Randall QC said he looked over all the cases before he took over and they were all rubbish - that's enough for me.

It is a bit of due dilligence from the Premier League, nothing will come of it.

At least Derby fans can enjoy themselves for another 24 hours pretending something will come of it though! Bless them.

Talking of Randall I presume that he now has to step down from his role at the EFL?

That's one less conspiracy theory the shaggers can have about future EFL sanctions etc, although I doubt it will stop them.

This is currently being discussed on TalkSport; Simon Jordan essentially saying there's nothing at all to see here.

Oh well it must be ok then. I’d be surprised if that useless cockney chancer knew if he was having a crap or a haircut most of the time.
Not that there’s anything in the Marinakis BS but please don’t quite Jordan

Yeah, wouldn't surprise me if he got a similar role on the PL board.

Of course not - Derby fans will be convinced that as part of joining the EFL any promoted side has to swear allegiance to Gibson and support any, and all, of the nefarious plots designed to bring Derby down of which there are many of course.

Interesting that the EPL is now 'considering' including human rights records as a criterion. I think that ship has long sailed. Not long after the two tankers full of primo H left Athens.

In that case they have to go back over already ratified owners. You can't bring in something like that for human rights (quite rightly) and then say a current owner is fine to remain because they did it before. It would be the biggest case of hypocrisy and one eyed governance to date.

Some of the comments from posters on a couple of our neighbours' forums clearly suggest less-than-ideal moderation/governance guidlines are in force, should such comments come to the attention of the wrong people in terms of potential libel action.

Nicolas Randall and Johnny Owen joined a load of us in the cross keys after the market square party yesterday . Not the first time they’ve done it either,How many premier league chairman do you know who do that. Really wish I’d have asked him about the new stand and what the chances are of the big man getting a couple of these dickhead councillors by the scruff of the neck and giving their heads a massive shake.

I've bumped into Randall a couple of times and he's been 3 sheets to the wind.

Once quite impressively drunk at 6.30 on a Friday evening.

New rumours that EM is interested in buying a Ligue 2 club. For the time being I'm not bying them. I remind you, however, that he was on the verge of bying Troyes a few years ago, but the deal did not come through, and a couple of years later the consortium owing Manchester City bought them.
