It’s ADIDAS (again!) and KAIYUN SPORTS not MACRON, not BOXT, or UNHCR

I remember reading a few weeks back on Twatter that they'd be released in July and that the 3rd kit would be more extravagent than this years and that the home shirt has had a lot of thought put into it.

We always take the piss with getting shirts out.

What's our deal with BOXT? I hope they pay us enough to stay our sponsor. I do like them and the logo.

We will probably get sleeve sponsors, I just hope we don't cave into the crappy crypto sponsor. 10x worse than gambling ones!

We will also become Macron's only Prem club. I am sure demand will be high for our shirts this year, especially after the success of last years.

Leeds got a sponsor with them, I’m sure they’re willing to fork out the dough

Oh and get some new kits sorted ASAP, I want those Premier League patches.

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

The £180m prize from yesterday is made up of things like increased shirt sales - they really could do with having the new shirt out today. They’ll make a mint from the sales of Premier League arm badges!

It isn't.

Not sure with BOXT but I was listening to a few podcasts last week and they were saying the kit deal and the sponsorship deal likely have big kickers in the contract if you get promoted, so it will be interesting to see if they carry on or potentially bow out of the deal.

I remember when Wolves were promoted, they had a long term deal with an existing sponsor/kit manufacturer which was just brought out when they got promoted.

Wouldn't be suprised to see something similar with us now given our marketing potential. Adidas are probably considering onboarding us again.

“In 2020, Deloitte suggested that victory in the play-off final could see an increase in revenue of between £135 million ($167m) to £265 million ($328m), depending on whether a promoted team can avoid immediate relegation.”

It is - it’s why we see different numbers for what the game is worth as it’s an estimate based on the increases a club makes from all revenue streams.

If we get on tv more then the ‘prize’ is higher. Increases come from ticket prices, larger capacity games, broadcast rights, sponsorship and merchandise.

If the money was just a ‘prize’ given to us then it would have a definite number and not be talked about in ranges.

Premier league gives reward at the end of the season based on finishing position, not a cheque to newly promoted sides.

Adidas could never deliver such a classic jersey as your third one this season.

Adidas - much as I love their historic connection to Forest - are typically German-conservative in their designs.

Macron, it’s like their Italian designers sank about ten espressos and then Diego Armando Maradona‘s leftover stash, and thought, „right, f*** it…“ with that third shirt.

It is bonkers, but in a good way.

The blue one (disclaimer: my personal favourite) is a belter also.

True, it will go down as a cult classic up there with our puke yellow shirt from the 90's

exactly, it takes balls to wear this jersey and f***ing make it and write history with this one. It's out of the BOX(T) (see what i did here?)

I hope we stay with Macron. Their shirts are horrible fits for the larger lad like myself, but the designs are brilliant. Only other manufacturer I'd like to see us change to would be back to Umbro.

I think Umbro have a few clubs in the Premier League

West Ham, Brentford? Burnley (well not anymore)

Has he singed yet?
Come to think of it, I do recall Everton recently having their kits made by Umbro.

Macron gave us the fruit salad kit, I say stick with them. Be interesting to see what we grace the premier League with next year. I always liked the early 90s blue/turquoise number, if anybody from Macron is on here and searching for retro kit inspiration!

Quite a few European sides are also Umbro: Schalke 04, for one example.

(Schalke have some very tasty Umbro branded leisurewear, as well as shirts).

It isn't. The quoted £170m is purely due to getting in the league and the parachute payments should you go back down after one season, that is the overall package for promotion.

I quite like Macron, some of their kits are batshit but at least we don’t have a copy and paste design.

It's criminal how we haven't had a nice bright green kit for so long.

I think it’s a rough minimum including a last place finish, parachutes, but also including increase in shirt sales, sponsorship etc

It is splitting hairs, but there are loads of conflicting bits of information out there about the true value which we are unlikely to ever find out. I always believed the £170m was based on that first season revenue in the Premiership, including the parachute payments should you go down, so the minimum a season in the Premiership you would walk away with.

Talking about Umbro, I m actually wearing the 2011 „Tailored by Umbro“ Shirt this morning, in a remarkable coincidence.

Bloody lovely it is, too.

I liked that shirt, but I thought the colour washed out pretty quickly turning it in to a pink colour rather than red.
