Nah, it’s the Dutch Midfielder we‘re after, Gerritt Forrard.

Any chance of him going to Wigan should see him not being played tomorrow.
Agreed and we should've worked harder at getting another CB/LB in this week; Wigan's interest in Fox has been apparent for over a week now, as has the severity of the injuries to Dawson and Hefele.

Seeing as most teams visiting us have already taken all available buses and parked them we should go for that smaller Dutch defender Hertz Van Rental

Not big enough for a MON centre half. We'll need a Olof Mellberg, Bobo Balde, Zat Knight, Shane Duffy, Gerry Taggert....

Age caught up wuith him as a left back - his legs went.
As a centre-back he played well more times than not well.
We do need better, so I am pleased that the Club had the sense not to panic while we have a mini-crisis with centre-halves.
Good luck in division 3 - because that is where Wigan ought to be.

At least the guy gave a f***..
On and off the pitch..
Might be worth looking at what he did for charities, Hospital visits , Schools ,Homeless, He was there everytime.
My son met him at a away game and said he had nothing but time for the fans after match taking time to chat to them all.
The person behind the player means everything to me.
Danny Fox can walk away proud for me
If you have nothing nice to say then don't bother.

In his last game for us, he gets pointlessly sent off to cap off a disappointing performance. Sums up his career at Forest really.
That being said, he's put in some decent performances and always tried to do his best. Wish him well, particularly as we don't have Wigan again this season.

As well as this, I don't think it's fair to criticise fox for the large wage he was apparently on - that's just good business on his part. What is he meant to do, negotiate a lower wage out of good will?

Clearly a player who puts in a good effort, was quality at times at CB, and seemed a thoroughly decent bloke.

Good luck Fox.

Well said Lard.

Right time to sell for me, but his last few years have been very good when you consider his first few. I can’t remember such a turnaround from a Forest player?

I saw some stats the other day of Forest results with him playing LB compared to CB compared to him not being in the team.
CB won.
I liked him at CB the majority of the time. Right time for both parties for him to leave as well. Good luck to him.

Done well for us the last few years and if Wigan are giving him a long term contract at this point in his career then I can't blame him whatsoever for wanting to take it.

Good luck to the bloke.

I will again refer to a previous post i made when i was on a freebie season ticket. Allowed me to see the players who weremt playing. Only player there every week was Fox with his kid, celebrating goals. When we scored against Ipswich in "that" game "some of our own" never reacted... didnt even clap.
