Ravel Morrison

If Ravel Morrison and Mustapha Carayol is the best we can do, then I'd rather we didn't bother signing anyone to be honest.

Similar name to yow Ravz. Who is he?

Is he like a young Gareth Bale??

He was touted as the next big thing a few years ago Ray. Went off the rails.
We can only hope he's grown up a bit. There's no doubting his ability, he's a proper match winner on his day.

Unfortunately his day, is about as frequent as full price furniture at DFS!

Lazio director Igil Tare said in October 2015 that Morrison "has undoubted quality and is world class, as well as being a little mad".

Let's sign Ched Evans whilst we're at it. If you're gonna kill the dressing room then at least do it properly

My workmate the Lazio fan says he's "undoubtedly talented, but most of the time looked like he couldn't be bothered".

Is he another bad 'un who could be made good by the right Manager, or another Nile Ranger-esque waste?

This has 'Fawaz signing' written all over it - a massive gamble.

Maybe Philipe can be the steadying influence he needs.

Morrison is a nobhead but also a class act who could rip it up at this level if he's got head right, I hope we get the little prick.

Balotelli, Morrison, Ranger, Ben Arfa - these types are all worthless

If we sign him I'll weep

The dangling carrot of playing for Man Utd wasn't enough to persuade him not to act like an absolute cretin. I'm not sure why playing for Forest would change his mind

Aye, we are basically his excuse to come home and bleed money out of another club for a couple more years before he truly becomes untouchable.

You'd think the club would have learned it's lessons but no, here we are again

I'm sure people said that about Marlon King once upon a time.

Possibly but that doesn't mean RM will be shite like King, he's a young lad who's acted like a massive bellend but that doesn't mean he can't grow up and be decent player for us.

He's 23 now. Maybe, just maybe he's grown up a bit.
As I said above, it's a gamble.

He's 23, maybe he wants to prove his detractors wrong. If he applies himself he'd be the best player in this division.

It's not so much a big "if" as a thirty-foot high one with alarm bells on the top.

If - if - we were willing to sign him, I'd hope the club would be smart enough to insist contractually on a reasonable standard of behaviour from him.

Worst case, he turns up thinking he is Charlie Big-Potatoes and we've wasted yet more money on a Premier League reject.

There lies the catch - if he had changed his spots he wouldn't be linked with a second tier team.

I know it's tempting Rav but this lad is trouble.

The main thing for me is he doesn't sound like the kind of good value sensible signing Pedro would be interested in.
