Would be good back-up to Lichaj, nothing much more. Very similar players in the fact they are both quick and powerful.

I think he still goes out with that fit lesbian off Coronation Street Brooke Vincent so if he brings her with him I am all for it.

Yuong player with plenty of scope for improvement by the look of it. Would be surprised if SP wasn't interested.

Improving on Lichaj would be expensive in terms of fee and wages. I personally like Lee Peltier, but wouldn't mind if we did nothing with the defence.

We're going to have to do an awful not of balking if some people on the forum get their own way, and there's 10+ players leaving.

Spot on! We can't afford to buy top notch players in every position, especially as Lichaj is perfectly adequate when fit. Imho the defence is generally OK, but the midfield and forward areas are clearly lacking. I want to see money spent there first then pick up a reserve/younger RB with what's left over.

I don't think that's how Fawaz will work to be honest. I don't think Pearce will be told, 'here's 5m', and he'll make two 2.5m signings then have to get a RB on a free.

It appears as though a player is suggested, and then it's considered what it would take to get him, and if it's an acceptable price. If we were to sign a fantastic RB for 3m, I don't think it would have any bearing on what we need in other positions. And you could say it would be better spent elsewhere, but what we want elsewhere might not be available anyway...

I think you judge each player you want on merit, and if they add quality, competition and value to your team, you go for it, regardless of position.

I thought at times this season, Lichaj looked far better at left back then he did on the right. I'm pretty sure his entire spell on loan at Leeds he played left back too. So i wouldn't be shocked to see us get a right back in and play Lichaj on the left.

Don't know much of Wabara, my dads a city s/t holder and seems to think he is decent but will never cut it at cities level so who knows. The sort of player i liked to see linked though.

Just saying further forward is where I'd prefer to see money spent first. Getting another RB may not have a bearing on what we need elsewhere, but it will have a bearing on what we can spend.

Agree, look at Trippier at Burnley. Reading around, it appears as though Man City were looking to offer him a new deal, but he's truend around and asked to leave because he wants to play football. He was very impressive at Oldham, showed lots of promise. I'd be happy to see him arrive here.

The handful of games he played at LB he was awesome. I seem to remember watching him keep the best RWs in the league very quite. Can't remember who they were but I can remember being really impressed. I think he played LB against Matty Phillips against QPR. I thought he was better defensively than Cohen and he played better at LB than he did at RB.

Lichaj's perfectly capable of keeping the best LW's in the league quiet too. He's just a very good full back at this level. And Cohen is a very good LB at this level. I really think it's a no brainer how our back four lines up to start next season, assuming everyone's fit.

Wabara doesn't sound like a bad shout on a free. From what I remember, he looked decent in the Cup tie with Oldham last season. Signing him would also seemingly increase the likelihood that Jara is on his way out in the summer.
