Looks like we'll play Hertha Berlin in pre season.

So with Derby no longer an interest - which fixture will be the first that folks will look out for ?

Spurs (My Dad's team). This is also why my first live Forest match was against Spurs at White Hart Lane in the Spurs end!!

Chelsea. My old man is a big blue since the 70s and runs their supporter's group. I know we have had a few cup run ins in recent years but it's not the same.

There is also a very boring story as to why I didn't end up Chelsea too.

Just tell em ya don't give a f*** about Lesta
Maybe not, but it'll be years before we play Derby again - It'll be good to have some East Midlands rivalry still.

I grew up in Leicestershire so maybe I feel it more than most, but pre-Clough wasn't Leicester/Forest a bigger rivalry than Forest/Derby?

I think the Forest Leicester rivalry was big in the 60s as Derby were irrelevant (a bit like now)

Although there has been needle with the sheepshaggers since the 1898 cup final

I think back to when Leicester won the league & it was painful to see a local team win it but it would've been a million times worse if Derby won

Do we think the club will go with the same ticketing structure for away games next season? If so I think buying an away membership will be necessary to have a chance of getting any tickets, especially for the bigger games. I’m looking forward to hopefully seeing Goodison, Anfield, Villa Park and the new Tottenham ground.

I was in Teheran on a long trip and we had a few days there in an old hospital which was used as a makeshift hotel for odds and sods,; US Airforce, visiting crews etc.

Crystal Palace had just bought a few players and were on a trip to foster esprit de corps. Amongst the new players was Charlie Cooke from Chelsea. One night he got really pissed (the US MAC boys used to bring us in a few bottles of this and that from their sorties) and stood on the only table tennis ball in the hotel, right in the middle of our World Championships!

One of our crew was a fervent Chelsea supporter, a shed boy, and Chunky was so annoyed by this that he stopped going to Chelsea.

Mind you, the fact he moved up to York to sing in the Minster choir might have affected his decision, too.

Wow, we now have at least 2 Forest players at the world cup!!! Think that may have just increased Johnson's new wage again when he hopefully get's a new contract!

Sorry I probably should be spamming a different thread ''what world cup matches are you most looking forward to!''

Yes,the fun and games with Derby started in 1969 when Brian Clough took the Rams into the 1st Division.

Personally I'd rather we didn't bother having a 'rivalry' than start one with Leicester. I don't particularly enjoy the shit rivalry we have with Derby, and I am quite content to just carry on without one and just enjoy focusing on Forest's fortunes. Let Leicester and Derby stew in their own muck.

If you didn't have an away membership this season, I don't fancy you chances in getting one! For those who had it this season, only fair they're the ones given the option first to renew and that's already around 2.5k isn't it?

Yeah I think there’s a good chance home and away memberships will be limited to last years members, but maybe a few more offered away as we should get bigger allocations?

Has anyone noticed in the prem fixtures you never get the bigguns playing against each other at the first game or last game? I cant remember a United play Liverpool on the opening day ever. I wonder if thats just pure chance or pre meditated for TV rights?

I would like United away first up as I think we can catch them on the hop. Or if its at home someone like Southampton or Leeds.
