I've fuc.king despised that club with a passion for 50-years now (the anniversary is next month to be precise) and every season that goes by with that cabinet gathering more dust is a delight

They were in three Cup finals in the early 50s I think. Wor Jacky Milburn was the star and there is a statue to him at the Newcastle ground. I saw the '55 game on TV, I'm sure Milburn latched onto a wayward pass and ran through to score in the first few minutes. I hadn't realised that was their last trophy. I was 13 and at school in Lynn.

Gibbs-White is a classier ball player than I had thought - the Forest attacks were surprisingly quick and there’s no way they’re going down - there’s easily 5-7 teams that will end up below them; and Forest will deserve their place on spirit and entertainment for me.
