Is the tattoo story actually true? Can't see it myself but ya never know

No, it's not.

I'm pretty sure he's never said he was a Forest fan too. He just said he used to come watch sometimes as a kid. He's previously said he was a Man Utd fan when he was a kid.

Once Scotland is run by Scottish people the top rate of tax will probably make being a footballer there rather unappealing. Well, rather more unappealing.

Funny that, I'm pretty sure i used to see him playing football in a forest shirt at school and spider rec in skegby.

From what I can remember, each season he would have 16 great games, 15 shocking games and be injured for the other 15 games. And after his antics in front of the Brian Clough stand on 5-2 night he can go take a long waddle down a short pier as far as I'm concerned. I will concede that he's probably the last consistently good corner taker we've had for a while though. I remember that season Breckin scored 9 goals from his corners and ended up top goal scorer.

As a kid I owned and played football in, many shirts of all different teams.
So did i, but your missing what i was getting at. Kris grew up about 1/2 a mile away from me, went to the same school as me etc. At school he was a Forest fan, when seeing him play out in the park he was wearing a Forest shirt etc. I don't know for certain if the tattoo story is true, but I have heard from close mates of his from round here it is true.

Sorry mate but YES it is true.
Nice story about it.

I met him in America when he played for us, he had a Forest tattoo on one side of his calf and a George cross on the other.

When he went to Direby I spoke to Natalie Jackson and asked her to ask him about it (he got into the Scotland squad by then)as she was interviewing him that week before we played them.
The next time she saw me she told me he had a mini tantram and asked where she got the info from, she told him one of the players at Forest told her.

I know he had a Direby tattoo as well to kind of win over the sheep shaggers, but I dont know if he had the Forest one defaced.

And I agree with with Sedgred, a backwards move even if he hadnt gone to the sheep.

Id have him back here. Plenty of pace, good striker of the ball and will get goals. He'll bang em in. Get him signed.

The "tattoo story" was based on a fake image that showed a forest badge on one "tit" crossed out and a sheep badge on the other. You can find a blurry version of it on google images but it will not open properly.

He'd comfortably be our best player - but it will never, ever, ever happen.

I think he'd rather go back to Derby than here anyway.

How short some people's memories are. Talented but consistently inconsistent when playing against decent opposition week in week out.
