I think those pissing around on a Friday night at Scunthorpe in League 1 in 2005 or at Salisbury on a
Sunday lunchtime in the FA Cup 2nd Round in 2006 should get priority.
I definitely agree with Salisbury being the criteria for preferential treatment

I'm hoping they switch back to pre covid system where everyone started the season on 0 and built up away points through the season and them it reset again at the end.

If they keep it as it is currently, nobody will evet get the chance to get away tickets until someone with eleventy billion away points dies as they'll just keep racking up and those at the bottom simply can't get any tickets. Did alot of away days before covid, not been able to since and I do think how they did it before was fairer, with away members getting first dibs and then any extras to.non members.

Err as an away member with oodles of ( hard earned ) loyalty points I say no!
Though I think points are only accrued over a rolling 12 month period ( or something similar )?

Judging by the lack of knowledge regarding the system in place at the moment, it would be a nice and rather thoughtful gesture by the club to publish the rules applying to all aspects of ticketing to be employed this coming season so the fanbase could start planning for the future.

Plus other aspects of football life in the Prem, such as the make up of the team, subs allowed, loans system, fan allocation at all grounds, not just our own. These facts could be placed in a "fan section" of the OS with questions invited from fans. Of course the club would only print those questions and statements which were considered sensible so as to screen out all the nonsensical stuff which is bound to come in.

Come on Forest, let's have some details, I want to get Newcastle sorted out.

Would be good to get info on both home and away membership.
They said there would be different tiers with different costs. So now would be the time to announce so people can budget for those.

Yeah I had a load pre covid but they reset them every season. This, as far as I know, hasn't happened since covid and since grounds opened back up again they've continued to accrue. That's why you're getting folks with 30+ away points. It should go back to the old system of resetting at the end of each season.

What was the old system?

It reset at the end of each season instead of just rolling on. Before work and covid got into the way we used to do plenty of away days, haven't got a prayer now if they just keep rolling the points over seasons.

Fair enough - though I still believe a 12 month rolling system to be a more equitable way of recognising the loyalty of fans.

Nottingham Forest is delighted to announce all details of our eagerly anticipated new Home and Away Membership options for the forthcoming Premier League 2022/23 season.
With such a high demand for tickets anticipated as a result of the return to the Premier League, becoming a home member will enhance the chances of securing tickets for fixtures at The City Ground.
In creating these packages, the Nottingham Forest ticketing team has closely reviewed what other Premier League clubs offer in addition to other sports to create these options.
We appreciate that watching Forest is an emotive experience that is close to the hearts of thousands of fans around the world. Having a solution that rewards fan loyalty and which also provides an opportunity for the club to welcome new fans is our goal. It is therefore difficult to provide packages that work for everyone.
All memberships can be purchased on the behalf of family members/friends providing that a unique customer number can be provided at the time of booking.

AWAY MEMBERSHIPS

Away Membership provides Season Card holders with the best opportunity to follow Forest up-and-down the country in the 2022-23 Premier League season.
We’re expecting an incredibly high demand for watching The Reds on the road, so have created a two-tier away membership structure.
Please note that, whilst we again understand that this is an emotive subject that not all fans agree with, we want Away Membership to give priority to the away members who travelled most regularly during the 2021-22 season.
Priority Plus Membership, is only available to those fans who travelled to 80 per cent of away matches in the 2021-22 season.
Season card holders who held away membership last season, but travelled away from home less regularly, will also have an opportunity to renew their away membership under its new guise – Priority One Membership.
Priority One Membership will also be open to more season card holders than previously, meaning that more Forest fans will have the opportunity to join the scheme and follow The Reds on the road.

Thats going to be tough for the causal supporters, who maybe haven’t watched Forest in years.

I wonder what „Booking History“ means? 1 match, 2 matches. Or more?

Pretty much for „Home“ Games, I am guessing if you don’t have a membership, forget about getting tickets.

So basically 400 fans are guaranteed an away ticket and then 2600 (average away end 3000) have to fight it out for a ticket ? Doesn't look like there is a limit on the Priority One Membership

That is if they only sell 3000 away memberships. We currently have 2500, if they sell over 500 extra you have to fight for the ticket.

All these years in the championship the 2.5k cap meant you could pretty much go to any game u wanted with the membership, without that there just taking the piss. If you’ve been going away for years you should have priority now we’re in the Premier League.

Wonder what the cap is on these. We could sell enough home memberships to make general sale never happen.

There is probably 8,000 people wanting to go to every away match next year. That will include plenty of people that have gone to loads of matches last year and in previous seasons.

Somebody is going to miss out mate.

I’m really confused.
Stacks of loyalty points but no Priority Plus membership?
They surely have to put a cap on the number of away members.
