The Mexico-USA game was wild. Four straight red cards. Good for Canada, as McKennie and Dest were the two Americans given straight reds.

Yeah. He played ok. I still think he would be worth a look in training camp. But he showed his temper again last night in the 88th minute. 2-0 Canada at that point and a Panamanian striker punched him in the back of the head after Richie impeded him somewhat while one of the center backs retrieved a ball. Ref originally cautioned the Panana striker but then VAR intervened and he was correctly set off. But after the incident Richie lost it and tried to go after the Panama dude. Borjan, our keeper, ran out of his box and did a good job of preventing Richie from going after the punching guy. Much like the two Americans who got sent off for taking the bait from Mexican players when the game was lost. Stupid reactions. Dest, in particular , was a complete idiot. Now the USA play us sunday without both McKennie and Dest. Both critical omissions, as Tyler Adams is hurt and Dest has great pace and would have helped deal with Alphonso Davies. Advantage Canada sunday. This whole rumbling thing we do over here in international games is actually quite funny. And stupid.

I'm just re-watching the last 20 minutes or so of the USA-Mexico game. The Mexicans were def the aggressors but the USA have to be smarter. Quite happy to have Dest and McKennie out of the final sunday. When you are up 3-0 getting involved in bullshit only suits the losing team.
