Bit of a reach to suggest a game almost four months ago has caused a possible injury now.
To be fair, I think it's a valid point. MGW was clearly below par following his u21 exploits and I'd forgotten how much he played in the cup. Clearly, he's played a lot of minutes since last season, even if you can imagine him being up for playing even more.

Yes, I think it's a reach that a player played in the middle of an extended break, four months ago, who may or may not have an injury now has anything to do with a game four months ago. Ok.
It’s a reach as you’re looking for a stick to beat Nuni with. He played one of his best games ever 4 days ago. Maybe he shouldn’t have played him in that.
Sorry chaps, I forgot players don't get tired.

Magic Nuno powers obviously.

If there's an agenda to be had, any seamingly possible reason will be clung to and used as said stick. I personally don't think Nuno has exactly covered himself in glory with some of his decisions but let's have a bit of balance.

No one’s saying players don’t get tired, but a stating that playing in 1 game 4 months ago has lead to this specific injury no is utterly ludicrous. If he got injured directly in the cup game your argument would, be fine. He got clobbered today in a revenge tackle by one of the spurs players by the way.

Probably a Blackpool fan.

More than Murillo?
Murillo's a f***ing tank and also plays a position where he's not getting kicked around by other players all the time. Much of what an AM does is in a very tight space which leads to more contact related stress.

As I've said 3 times already, it's about managing players who just have a lot of game time.

MGW has played more than any other player we have. I don't get why you think it's so outlandish that I wish he hadn't had been played as much in the cup games to have kept him fresher?

The worry is you'd be delighted.
Yeah, can't wait to be bottom of the Championship again. Great times. It's why I love Marinakis' short-sighted methods so much.

In fairness that was a low blow (on my part), but the edit with smiley got me. Peace out dude.

He seems like he’s managing the players fine. We’ve had far less injuries under Nuno than we have under Cooper. Remember Fulham away last season… but blaming that on Cooper would be ludicrous.

"Get over Cooper! He's gone!"

*brings Cooper into a debate about Nuno managing player game time*

🤔😆
