Pure planning genius there, given that the most obvious route south will be via the A60, which is still plagued by roadworks at the Ruddington cross-roads.

Honestly, the term „piss up in a brewery“ could only have been coined in England.
Well, the next way would be the A606 to Six Hills and the A46 (and get on the M1 in bin dipper ville) but I think there might even be roadworks there still too.

So you'd be looking at the A5-2 to junction 25

Will Nuno go full "attack attack attack" or will he cuddle deeper into his safety/comfort defensive blanket?
If we don't win soon he will be fired before the end of the season
If we do win soon the firing will not happen until the end of the season.
So, I think it's time for him to put his wedding tackle on the block and go balls-out for an atteack driven win:

-------------Sels----------------
Williams---Omobanidele---Murillo---Aina (Toffo if Aina is injured)
-------Yates----MGW------Dominguez-------
Hudson-Odoi---------Elanga--------------
---------------Wood---------------------

I can't work out how to get Reyna into the same starting XI as MGW, unless we drop Yates.
Trouble is, for me, if we drop Yates and bring in Reyna MGW will spend too much time playing as a holding mifielder, unless we go 3 at the back.
If we go 3 at the back, it will have to be Niakhate and leave out Dominguez.

---------------------Sels----------------
---Omobanidele---Niakhate----Murillo---
--------------------MGW---------------------
-----Williams----------Reyna---------Aina
Elanga--------------------------Hudson-Odoi
---------------Wood---------------------

However, I am not Nuno, and not even a master football strategist... so I just don't know.

I'm bracing myself for an unchanged lineup, and an ugly performance that somehow earns us a point. Folk will scream it's not good enough, this place will meltdown but ultimately we'll be another point closer to survival.

(Hope I'm wrong - win would be nice)

They're better than us with a better manager.

I can't f***ing wait

Honestly, they really are away from home.

6 defeats from their last 9 away, 2 draws and 1 win. 5pts from 27pts.

In those 9 games I think (going off head math, stand to be corrected) they've conceded 22 goals, which will be averaging at around 2.4 goals conceded per game. And I think they conceded in every single one of those 9 games too.

Only Luton have conceded more goals away from home than Fulham.

And they've just conceded 3 against Sheff U and couldn't even beat them either lol.

This is another golden opportunity for a victory, although I guess that was the case for the Palace and to a lesser degree Luton match too, so I do share the concern that we can't beat them. But that will be down to us not them IMO.

Please Nuno, use the pace and attacking ability we have. It's not great by any means, but we should have enough to put some past these lot.
Make a combined Forest Fulham 11 Alf.

If we bench Sangare and Yates for Dom and Danilo (Hell even Kouyate if he’s fit) I think we could have a chance.

We need energy and quick feet in that midfield.

Heart says 2-1

Head says 1-3 with a toxic atmosphere

Whenever Forest play Fulham I always recall the 4 game FA Cup epic in 1975 (Fulham finally
winning 2-1 in the 3rd replay at the City Ground).
The current Fulham side blow hot and cold and could have too much for Forest-but I’ve got
a feeling it could be Forest’s night.
I’m going for a 2-1 home win.
That 3rd replay was my first ever visit to the City Ground. For 30 odd years I thought Paul Richardson scored our goal only to find out on the internet that it was Sammy Chapman!
I’ll be hoping for revenge tomorrow 😂

If we had beaten Fulham we would have faced Everton at Goodison Park in the 5th Round-
but new manager Brian Clough had to endure a Friday night trip to York City instead!

Anyone else heading south after the game tomorrow? Please don’t tell me there will be closures on the M1 as well?

Where has our fast counter-acting threat gone?

Because teams are starting to sit off us now and we've become a lot more possession based under Nuno. So the opposite is happening, it was Palace on Saturday that sat off and countered.

Fulham tonight, different story. Silva attacks home or away so theres more of an opportunity for our counter attacking game to work but we would need Fulham to have the majority of the ball. And if we do that, the atmosphere in the ground will plummet.

If Nuno picks Sangare and Origi tonight i really hope the crowd don't lose their heads before a ball is kicked. Everything from Saturday has being overblown to the extremes and a fall guy was required. We are not far away. One win and the tide turns, let it be tonight. Especially at the WFCG under the lights, it could literally save our season points wise and just as important morale wise both on and off the pitch.

It's tonight - comes around quick!

Taking my lad - hoping he's a good omen after he saw us beat Sheffield United for his first game... I'll ignore the Blackpool draw. I told him they've saved the goals for him - just hope they are our goals...

Going to be a tough game tonight - they all are at this level. Folk expecting us to get three points just by turning up need to remember the away result.

I'm expecting a nervy night - I hope some of our quality can show through though don't expect it will be for long periods. Need everyone on their A game - no place for passengers at this level. If that's the case, everyone's on it, three points is a possibility. If not grinding out a draw will be tough.

I've read the A453 is closed from 8pm. Pain as I was going to head that way for my journey northbound straight after the game.

If Nuno starts with Sangare & Origi then he must have been asleep on Saturday..............

I usually go home via the A46 but access to it was closed off the Melton Road (A606) on Saturday. I need to get to the M69 but if the A46 & A453 are both closed it'll be a long journey home .
