I had a revelation the other day.
If you start with the premise that the FA is no longer bothered about the FA Cup Competition and wants to kill it off, then EVERY decision they've taken since football was invented in 1992 actually makes sense.

Aye same here... I was convinced VAR was gonna disallow it.
They checked for offside at the free kick (not even nearly), they checked over and over for handball (I still think it's rolled up the Cov player's arm) but they didn't check to see if the cov guy was offside when the ball is played across the 6 yard line to him.....

My impression was it misses Simms and hits the defenders elbow. Not conclusive though.
