Really hope I can watch MOTD tonight. I reckon on last week’s performance if Elanga has put his contact lenses in, we could be on for scoring 3.
A loss means all TVs are turned off at 10.30pm

A game that's hard to call.

Forest don't go into this game with a good streak of form. However, we do have performance momentum. That's something to build-on.

Brighton are also in a sticky patch, but their returns are better than ours over any time period you might feel its useful to consider for comparison. Today is only the 4th game they've played at home in 2024.

De Zerbi is a great coach but injuries and schedules have prevented him from reaching the consistency they had last season. They've not found any rhythm this season and he's not had the personnel to tweak games to their advantage.

They come into this game weakened by injuries and on the end of a midweek thumping in Rome. With only two days to recover, they'll be relying more on Hope than the fully rested Forest, who had a full 7 days since the last outing.

I'm expecting Nuno to focus the battle in the centre of the park. But I think we'll play a patient game to wear them down.

It's a game we can win. That's worth holding onto as we approach the critical period of our season.

Come on you reds!

Matchday and there are real nerves here this game. Last week was thought to be a slam dunk for Liverpool, but I thought we might get something; and we so nearly did. Only a blind and deaf ref could have stopped us.

But this week, we really could win. We really could.

It's that hope that kills you, knowing that it's so close you can almost taste it, but then to have it snatched away. And that's becoming the trend this season, we have been so close so many times that you know, you just know, that it's going to get snatched away yet again when we are on the brink of points.

Please let it change, give me joy unconfined once more.

I quite like Brighton as a club and a fan base, pity we’re gonna fist em.

Maybe its hyperbole but I feel that rarely has a game had so much riding on it - we win, and go above Everton in particular, and its massive with the possible points deduction in play. I'm hoping I suppose that whatever penalty we get Everton get the same so being above them would be a massive boost.

Many brighton fans not confident at all, they don't seem to be scoring much and they've got similar issues with their goalkeepers. Mitoma and Gilmour will be big losses for them too.

Brighton have a good side and a decent coach - going to be a tough afternoon...

That said if ever the stars have aligned this is it - poor form, hammered in the week (when we had no fixture), mounting injury list and key players out.

It's over to us to harness the disappointment of last week and bring our A game.

I really hope we can do something here - it's the start of a run of fixtures that may well define our season.

RDZ appears to be losing his way a little lately with key players his system relies on being out. Based on the fans comments, he is struggling to adapt to this reality and persists in trying the same approach. Particularly in the centre of the park.

Nuno, I feel, has a little more flexibility and we have a (comparatively) more stable midfield.

With this in mind, 4-0 to Brighton.
