4-0…spanking this.
Take it they have a strong team out too
I wouldn’t have minded it still being up for grabs second leg as they might have one eye still on the second leg.Tie over now.

Injured for season

It is as he’s a great player. Glad he’s not playing Sunday though!!aww thats a shame
Yeah im overjoyed he's not playing just fearing a fightback after tonight from them now but seems like a great opportunity to take it to themIt is as he’s a great player. Glad he’s not playing Sunday though!!
Dunno if this is a good result or not. A knock to the confidence but they don't need to worry too much about saving players for the 2nd leg now.
Boly, Woody and Sangare all training.
Edit: Dominguez also involved in the SSG's
Cheers Cloughie much appreciated.Robbo wasn’t the penalty taker before Cloughie took over,Rocka-I remember George Lyall missing
a couple.
I think Robbo missed 2 penalties in the same game in Clough’s first full season (although he
scored from a rebound from one as we lost 1-2 at home to Hull).
Terry Curran took over duties from the spot for a while until he got injured a year or so later.
Robbo then took over again and became ‘dead eye Dick’ during the glory years.
Yes, Robbo did indeed miss two and score from one rebound in that game, Cloughie. I think it was a day Notts were at home at Trent Bridge and I went back across Radcliffe Road after the game to rejoin some friends who’d also been to the Forest game. I remember we weren’t too complimentary about Robbo at the time, but when you’re about 12 you’re quick to blame missed penalties for a defeat but not so ready to question the defending at the other end…Robbo wasn’t the penalty taker before Cloughie took over,Rocka-I remember George Lyall missing

Now, we're the worst we snapIndeed he did,Duncan.
This probably reinforced Brian Clough’s view that he always enjoyed visiting the City Ground
when he was manager at Derby as we made the best sandwiches in the Football League.
George Lyall was the penalty taker when Cloughy took over but he missed one at Portsmouth, a reporter asked Clough after if the penalty had hit the post, the reply being I wish I'd hit him (Lyall) with the post! He didn't take more any as far as I can remember.Robbo wasn’t the penalty taker before Cloughie took over,Rocka-I remember George Lyall missing

Yes,I went to that game in 1975-the penalty was nowhere near the post as it went way wideGeorge Lyall was the penalty taker when Cloughy took over but he missed one at Portsmouth, a reporter asked Clough after if the penalty had hit the post, the reply being I wish I'd hit him (Lyall) with the post!
