Club's gone weirdly quiet since Saturday. Surely they're not going to just take this lying down? Has Marinakis gone soft suddenly?
Oh boy, someone is waking up with a Horse‘s head in their bed tomorrow morning!

Nottingham Forest acknowledge the charges bought by the FA in respect of their failure to control staff after the events of 3 March and in response would like to apologise for Paul Tierney being an absolute prick.
…and Tens of thousands of Forest fans agree with and endorse this view.

Your move, FA.

Clattenberg should be in his element with this latest charge. Surely with all that went on, including the drop ball, the officials can scarcely get away without some sort of official wrist slap at the very least.

Can I be the first to start the utterly ridiculous but bound to happen at some point rumour that that Clattenburg is encouraging his twat mates (the ref ones not the units) to give us bad decisions for sake of keeping himself in the limelight.

Surely an apology will suffice. That's what the PGMOL do when they do something wrong.

Dear EPL,
We are very very sorry.
f*** you!
Yours sincerely

I’m not sure if this Facebook link will work for everyone but it’s a summary of all the ‘incorrect’ officiating decisions that have gone against us this season. Glum viewing.

Should be out first line of defence to the latest charges!

VAR......introduced to eliminate "clear and obvious errors"

The top 6 commentariat clearly don't like the Clattenburg appointment and think it has serious ramifications for the integrity of the game. I'm not sure I do, if I'm honest. But what has been lost in the furious debate after Saturday is the PSR case. They may not seem linked but they are.

While we have nothing to blame but our stupidity, the club clearly feel aggrieved that we are facing the prospect of up to 9 points being deducted for a pretty minor and innocent breach of PSR. The reason we are getting the punishment is the perception that league needs to maintain its financial integrity.

I think what the club feels is that when it comes to integrity and fairness the PL can't have it's cake and eat it. Why should they drag us to court and potentially relegate us (whilst other far more serious offenders still go unpunished, and we got promoted on a shoestring) but face no scrutiny of the on-pitch farces that we've had to witness in the past two months?

Where was the integrity on Saturday? Where was the integrity at Old Trafford? Where was the integrity when Rob Jones handed Bournemouth the game? Where was the integrity when we had to play 10 minutes of stoppage time against United and the ref still didn't blow until the 102nd minute? Where was the integrity when Toney moved the ball a yard to the right after the wall was set but they did nothing? Where was the integrity when the footage showed that Dubravka undeniably brought down Taiwo, but VAR thought there was nothing to see? Where was the integrity against West Ham, where apparently the ref was livid he wasn't sent to the screen?

The Clattenburg appointment is our warning shot to the PL over PRS. Get your own house in order and we'll get ours in order. You try and f*** us and we'll f*** you right back.

While I agree that we are posturing with this I'm not sure how the appointment is going to f*** the PL. Don't think they care much, if at all.

I was looking on FB the other day at a post from one of the pages saying that Paul Tierney has been dropped from this weeks games but will be on VAR duty for the Arsenal game.

The amount of comments claiming he wasn't due to be on duty anyway was ridiculous, how do these people know this stuff? Its a sad indictment of what the game has become since VAR was introduced. Football fans actively looking at who is reffing each game :ROFLMAO: Get a f***ing life, jesus. Probably couldn't tell you the offside rule most of em!

Actually, I'm not so sure myself these days 🙄

I was having a conversation with family about the entire Tierney/Liverpool incident the other day (both parents are former managers within the Public Sector).

If any of us had made an error of a high profile kind such as Paul Tierney did, then, that would be the last you'd have seen of us for a while.
We'd have been stopped from doing our job whilst we were sent on 'remedial training' (as a minimum), before being subject to stringent checks and balances before returning.

I completely agree. No case can be made for not dropping Tierney from the PL rota until he's completed a football rules course - accompanied by the 4th-official, the closest linesman and the VAR official from Saturday's game, all of whom failed to alert him.

To be fair to the 4th official, he appeared to try and alert Tierney, but Tierney was having nothing of it.

I sit quite close to the 4th-official's position but I was focusing on Tierney at the time, so if he did, fair enough, he's excused.
There’s a picture of it on here somewhere, where the 4th official is alongside the Forest coaching team trying to catch Tierney’s attention
