Not really any resale value in this deal either, so we are effectively selling Mangala to invest it in Akpom, it's awful business.
Would have been nice to invest it into a player who has actual potential to grow into something, instead of wasting it away on a journeyman who had 1 good season.

Supporting was probably the wrong choice of words. More that ‘making sense’ of a move like this. He’s not worth 14mil. But then I suppose teams are buying Championship players for 20mi+ today.
