HBB says: Well that was the most enjoyable time I've had in a while doing this job. Their boards were very confident and more worried about the games coming up before kick-off. That said they were quick to see their side is a shadow of what they were and that we were the more potent side in attack. By the time it got to three-one the boards were quieter than SJP. Overall they're despairing of the injuries and tiredness of their side but they were as generous as opposition fans can be at the final whistle.
Routine 2-0 home win.
Forest are terrible. We have huge problems if we lose here.

It's not just the result, it's the manner of the results. We've not just been beaten but completely outplayed by Forest today
We were ripped apart here and looked so flat.
Forest are a naff side. Chris Wood is one of the very worst forwards I've ever seen play for Newcastle. It's beyond parody he'd scor a hattrick.
Worst atmosphere I’ve been to in a long long time. Forest fans the best I’ve heard there in a long time.
f***ing horrible watching these midland scabs do us like this.
They've got some really talented players; even Wood isn't the Luuk de Jong lookalike many around these parts see him as. Immediately looks a very sensible choice getting rid of Cooper despite the job he did.
Bad performance by our standards, but in terms of the game itself they weren't that much better than us.
Wood playing like prime Benzema, Forest defence thinking they're 90's Milan. One of those days and tbh one of those months.
He'd cost a bomb but Morgan Gibbs White would be great for us behind Isak. Ran the show today I thought. Murillo looked good too second half.
They sat back, and we made basic mistakes in attack which they took full advantage of....their front players tore through us at will, but they always seemed to have 9/10 back when we were trying to get at them. We were poor again they were effective and could have easily had another 2 or 3 goals, while we were just slinging ineffective crosses to their goalkeeper.
They could have easily scored 6, a team that has been ropey all season btw.
Yes the Forest counter attacking was a great tactic by them but pretty naive by us. Disagree with Forest could have scored a hat full more. Get a look at the stats. This could easily have been a 5-5 scoreline. We got no luck whatsoever. Every bounce, block and ricochet went against us. Well played Forest I say.
