100% agree. Also, if he comes in knowing that hes a rotation option, rather than a first choice, its definitely better. Cooper will also have encountered him at Liverpool IIRC, as will Taiwo.
that is a good point!
makes me feel a bit more confident over a player thats hardly played 90mins
and i think he's played out wide too?

Didn't work out for him in Italy but I remember him being idolised by the scousers..scored some important goals for them..

While Batshuayi has a better goal output, tho only barely, Origi is a more versatile forward.

Played all across the front, as is the way with any Liverpool forward.

Loan so low risk.

We have January if we feel we need more firepower but I'd trust that Cooper knows him well enough from his Liverpool days to feel he's a good signing.

Think he can play on the wing, too? So more versatile than some other options

Another impressive deal if we get this over the line.

Not going to blow anyone's socks off but there was a real risk of Taiwo injury causing mayhem for us and Origi closes that gap.

Not getting anyone better as a backup, loan is incredibly low risk and allows us to spend elsewhere.

Really happy with this.

Scored some pretty important goals in his career including 2 in the Champions League semi final comeback game vs Barcelona and 1 in the Champions League final vs Spurs.

I'm very pleased with this one. A good player who has a history of making an impact off the bench.

He might not be a blow your socks off signing but he adds depth up front, which we desperately needed. There's no guarantees that Taiwo will be fit all season after all.

Low risk loan signing who will likely surprise many people. A solid squad player who has done the business in this league before.

Batman didn’t want to sit on the bench at Fenners so wouldn’t have been happy here watching Taiwo banging them in.

This looks the more sensible option tbh.

Not a fan of this really, his scoring record is pretty meh. But will be good back up hopefully.
