Very disappointing. With us chucking money about this week it's gutting we couldn't have just not got Turner and stretched to get Henderson instead.

Who would have played in goal for the first few games. Is Henderson fit?

Who would you have had in goal for the last 3 games?
Horvath or Hennessey, Both aren't good enough for this level but realistically we weren't getting anything from Arsenal or United regardless of who was in goal.

Short term pain (or actually no difference whatsoever) for long-term gain.

We're they good enough for Sheff Utd and the 3pts we got?

I’d rather spend the 12mill we saved on the goalkeeper on something that can help us going forward, I’m not overly upset we’ve missed out

At the weekend, it was suggested that Johnstone would go to Wolves to replace Sà who would come to Forest
I wonder what Wolves fans think to an ex-baggie joining them? Are they as incestuous as ours and Derby's relationship for it to not matter?

I'd rather have Johnstone than Sa if that was ever an option. All the talk is of the Benfica lad anyway.

I am quite crushed to see him sign for Palace.

I felt like him coming back would have been a hugely positive moment. Ah well.

We didn't sign hendo coz he's injured, no point pissing 20m on a keeper that might spend the season on the treatment table
I don't think anyone knows what his current level of fitness is, but there seems to be enough of a question mark there for the club to look elsewhere

As I've posted recently it's a risk to go all-in on a player who missed half of last season with injury and may still not be fit, and one I don't think the club were prepared to take

All that said, I'll still be sad to see him sign for someone else as I really like the guy and at one point last season it seemed like he could be our #1 for many years to come; alas it was not to be
