Trevor Francis, RIP

Rosie

Viv Anderson
Have very fond memories of bouncing up and down on our sofa when he scored against Malmö. A few miles away in Derbyshire my other half was bouncing up and down like me, but he fell off and broke his arm. He was very proud of his Trevor Francis cast.

I can’t believe that he was only 69. Rest in peace Sir Trev. Forever a Forest legend.

Always knew that one day the men who made Forest into legend would start to pass away.

Still absolutely devastating news when it happens.

Others have said all that needs to be said really. Scorer of one of the two most important goals in Forest's history and an all time great striker.

God bless you Trevor. May you rest in peace, Thank you for everything.

I still have a scar on my left hand from that night in 1979. I was so pissed on cider that I fell over a barbed wire fence on the way home and cut my hand open.
The nearest I will ever get to a tattoo.
