NOTTINGHAM FOREST v NEWCASTLE UTD.

Some of natives are getting restless, some are sharpening knives.

We are now heading into 'must win' territory.

Have Forest got the Colly Wobbles or will the City Ground 12th man help guide Forest to victory?
Looks like Brennan Johnson will miss this one... if so, where are the goals coming from?
Will Chris Wood return to the line up?
Will Dennis the Menace start?
Is Ryan Yates fit enough to start?
Will we ever see Scarpa in a red shirt ever again?
Will we ever see Super Sammy Surridge again?
Are any of our injured players likely to make the bench?
Has Danilo learned how to head a ball, thus resulting in a place in the starting eleven?
Will Cooper set out his team to attack the Geordies or will go for low press defensive?
IF Forest lose to the Geordies... will this forum melt down and disappear?
Will it be the end of the world?

Would a draw be good enough?

IF Forest win are we all gonna be happy and all play nicely together again on here.? :)
IF Forest win are we heading for Europe again?

IF Forest win... will I be spending the weekend on the sofa?
IF Geordies win... shall I sulk and ignore my wife for a week or two?🤔

Will I ever forgive NUFC and their fans for 1974?

NEVER!

COME ON YOU REDS!!!!!! (y)

We really need a win here to stop the rot before the international break. Can't see us getting it though, especially if Johnson is injured.

Win for me. The Toon are going through a bit of a trough and lost that early season sparkle.

If we have that zip and energy in our play and the determination to get the job done, we can surprise them and the rest of our relegation rivals.

We will need it, now only two points in it.

Another tough game...

They've got that big lad out in midfield who usually runs their games which might help. Their manager is bemoaning not having Shelvey with the squad, which is all the more ironic given the slating he's had from some on here.

No idea how Cooper sets us up if BJ is out as feared - I suspect Coops might gee up the fans by playing Williams right side, Dennis left and Ayew up top... Eek!

Yates looked fitter Saturday - whether that means he is fit enough to start who knows. I hope...

No idea how I'd set us up truth be told... Keeper/defense picks itself, based on players being fit enough to pull on a shirt.

Midfield wise if Yates is fit I'd probably see if I could get something out of Shelvey behind Yates right, with Frueler, Danilo, Mangala playing thumb war for the left slot (I'd go with Danilo unless its windy, Cooper will go with Frueler).

In front of that who knows? BJ if fit obviously, if not then we'll have to change things up dramatically - suppose I'd go Gibbs White centrally, with Scarpa and Lingard either side.

Lingard did nothing to earn that start Saturday though, so if Dennis wakes up in a good mood he can have a shirt, maybe even Surridge if he buys me some sweets. What a mess...

At least when I've seen Surridge he's prepared to work hard come back and help in midfield and he's a target man - we've lacked any kind of focus up front since the start of the season. He's no Haaland but for gods sake we need something up front - have Dennis on the right to try and replace BJ if he's not available

Aye, I agree... we need folk who are prepared to fight and bust a gut for Steve Cooper and NFFC.

Form table provides both bleak and uplifting reading: we are second from bottom, Newcastle are two places above us as they've picked up an extra draw.

Would be a good time to play them if injuries havent further f**ked us.
