Giraldi is COOKING
They play Dortmund at home, in the late afternoon kick-off (1730CET) - I will let you know if he‘s in the squad!Leverkusen have a game this afternoon, if he's playing it's probably safe to say this one isn't gonna happen.
Sounds like just what we need...
He's a young player with a lot of potential. He's physically strong and very quick. Everything is possible." - Löw before Tah’s first Germany call-up

Surely they don't get Hincapie for anywhere near that. One other maybe relevant point; according to Kicker, Spurs have submitted a €27m bid for Tah‘s fellow Centre Back Piero Hincapie to Leverkusen.
I cannot honestly see Die Werkself letting both men leave in this window, without having a replacement or two lined up, and it is getting a bit late for that…

Might be a loan back involved in that one, though it seems they are miles apart on valuation. One other maybe relevant point; according to Kicker, Spurs have submitted a €27m bid for Tah‘s fellow Centre Back Piero Hincapie to Leverkusen.

In all honesty, not a chance.Surely they don't get Hincapie for anywhere near that.
In Nixon's defence, when we had the thread on journalist's reliability in the summer he came out of it pretty well. Linked us with four and we signed three.
Spurs are also in for Hincapie from Leverkusen (see above posts) and it is unlikely Leverkusen would sell both men at the same window.Genuinely pay for his patreon for that reason. As much as he likes to give people shit on twitter, he is generally seen as right more often than not and I personally think agents/clubs slip him info to speed along deals in return for the couple of red herrings he puts out.
For instance, it would not surprise me if he’d released the Tah story in order to speed along a Tanganga transfer. Spurs might be stalling, we might be pushing and we wanna let them know we have options elsewhere. Or the reverse might be true. Ultimately, there’s always motives on motives on motives in these transfer sagas.
I was also reading how Tah might not be the ideal sort of CB Xabi Alonso likes to use in his 3 at the back, noticed he's not been an absolute stalwart in the starting XI since Alonso came in, so you wonder whether they might be tempted to cash in on him rather than Hincapie. In all honesty, not a chance.
I think Leverkusen would respond to that with two words: Verpiss Dich!
I suspect it would need a bid in excess of €40m to prompt them to sell.
Selfishly - yes, I would hope so. Alonso likes more of a ball-playing Central Defender, whereas - to my eyes - Tah is more of a „Stopper“, and Forest could do with a „Stopper“!I was also reading how Tah might not be the ideal sort of CB Xabi Alonso likes to use in his 3 at the back, noticed he's not been an absolute stalwart in the starting XI since Alonso came in, so you wonder whether they might be tempted to cash in on him rather than Hincapie.
He was and still is well and truly in the BUPA - mostly wrong category. In Nixon's defence, when we had the thread on journalist's reliability in the summer he came out of it pretty well. Linked us with four and we signed three.
A "stopper" would pair nicely with what we saw from Niakhate, would free him up to play the ball from the back and provide security behind Danilo giving him more confidence and freedom.Selfishly - yes, I would hope so. I think that's harsh on Worrall. He made a lot of good tackles against Bournemouth and for their goal was right up alongside the striker when he got his shot off. It wasn't as if he let him go. All the while Aurier decided to start drinking that day.If we do get him we need to start with Tah and Boly. Unfortunately Joe needs another spell on the bench. Could've done better with the Bournemouth goal and the Rashford goal...shame as I thought he was really finding his feet. Worral and McKenna are back ups at this level.
Worral looks decent alongside Boly. Not so much alongside McKenna.I think that's harsh on Worrall. As for United, he wasn't good enough I agree, but he was against the most in form attacker in Europe right now.
Fair enough, I didn’t know this.He isn’t mostly wrong tho. I’m not standing up for the bloke but he called 4 transfers for us and got 3 right IIRC
This is the issue - unfortunately Mckenna has not elevated to the Premiere League level, IMO. I would be surprised if he didn't spend next season in the Championship regardless of how Forest finish this campaign.Worral looks decent alongside Boly. Not so much alongside McKenna.
McKenna was our best CB at the start of the season (not hard I know). It would be interesting to see how him and Boly would perform together in a combination I don't think we've tried. This is the issue - unfortunately Mckenna has not elevated to the Premiere League level, IMO.
