if there’s any truth in this, it’s interesting to know why BL would sell one of their main centre halves whilst still in the EL and chasing down the European spots in the league. Release clause maybe?

Apart from that…which goes without saying.
Apparently he said this a couple of years ago:

"The Premier League appeals to me, it has always been like that. I always had the feeling that my style of play would suit England well. The physicality of the league and the need to think quickly are qualities that suit my game. Opinions differ as to which league is the best in the world — for me, it’s the Premier League.”

And I'm sure a pay rise wouldn't hurt either.

A tall mobile CB with the initials JT.

Now where have we seen one of those that lead its club to league and European titles?

If we do get him we need to start with Tah and Boly. Unfortunately Joe needs another spell on the bench. Could've done better with the Bournemouth goal and the Rashford goal...shame as I thought he was really finding his feet. Worral and McKenna are back ups at this level.

If there's any chance this is possible then Marinakis and Co, you know what to do.....

Will get encouraged when it's coming from somebody that isn't Alan Nixon.
Yep, no-one else reporting it yet and even Nixon is suggesting it's very early stages.

I suspect he is one of a few we are looking at in the next few days.
