Such a disappointing signing. Not even showing the slightest glimmer of hope that he might do anything useful.

Fuckin abysmal.

Just when you think you think he couldn't be any shitter he sprays a cross field pass straight to their attacker whilst under no pressure at all.
Couldn't believe that. I shouted at the TV "Are ye fúcking colour blind?"

A player blessed with natural physical footballing ability, but isn't very smart. If he's not holding onto the ball too long, he's giving it to the opposition. Regressed heavily this season the longer he's sat on the bench.

Where do you actually begin?
I was the most excited about him when he signed because I thought he was quality last year in a dire Watford team.

Scored his goal against Villa and that's about it. Came on against United away, shit the bed. Played against Blackpool, shit the bed. Came on tonight, shit the bed.

It takes a lot for me to think that Lyle Taylor should be played ahead of another forward at Forest but honestly, I think Lyle might actually have more to contribute. Same goes with Mighten. They're both Championship level players but they'd somehow still be better than Dennis or maybe i'd just resent them playing for us less. I would rather have given Grabban a contract on the same money he was previously on and had him than Dennis.

I think the worst part honestly though is that the two club rule means there's only certain leagues he can go to, so we're probably stuck with him until the summer. If I'm a team looking for a forward in and the league I'm in as any kind of level, I'm going nowhere near him.

I think we'd do well to recover more than 2/3 of what we paid for him, given he's hardly likely to have impressed any visiting scouts. Hopefully some desperate mugs appear before the end of the month though.

Either way, I'm sure that Watford were laughing all the way to the bank with this one.

I'd be quite happy if we somehow got 2/3 of our money back for him at this point. Just take the hit and recoup what we can this window, he's only going to decrease in value the longer he is here.

He just doesn't seem to have a football brain.

He has talent with the ball at his feet, you can see that but his decision making is 1 second behind where it needs to be and is often the wrong decision anyway.

With so many incomings we were always going to get a dud or 2, Dennis is one that we have to accept hasn't worked.

Completely agree with this. His decision making is awful, and never seems to be on the same wavelength as his teammates.

I'm not usually one to write players off so quickly, and Dennis may well go on to be successful elsewhere, but for me it already looks apparent that things aren't going to work out here. Best for all parties that he moves on this month IMO.

Just have to write this one off as a scouting error. He clearly isn't the right fit for the team, regardless of any ability.

Hopefully we can recoup most of the money spent on him with a January transfer.
Yeah, from whats been banded about Twitter, I very much doubt we scouted him tbh lol.

But I agree with your overall point.

He's good at getting in good areas and receiving the ball, it's just what he then does with it that's the problem!

If that can be worked on and improved then maybe loan him out somewhere, otherwise we need to move him on
