Dean Bradley Henderson

Hennessey is a solid back-up but Henderson has actively won us points. GK with him there is an area where we’re better than the teams around us. It’s critical we keep this advantage by replacing Henderson if the injury is as bad as it looks. This needs sorting for the Leeds game at the latest.

I think you're probably right Cloughie. An injury to Hennessey would leave us seriously in the shit, as Smudge now seems to be semi-retired.
That's a very good way of saying shite

I would seriously try and get Livakovic anyway, think he's better than hendo and of course he'd be our player

i don’t rate Hennesy at all but he has played in a palace side who stayed up. So my guess is we could get by with him but he’ll cost us some points.

Seem to remember an outfield player having to go in goal against arsenal at our place probably would of been late 80's early 90's

I was impressed with Hendo’s distribution yesterday. There seemed a concerted effort to throw the ball out and these were long throws were finding the full backs feet and moved us up the pitch. Really good tactic and obviously worked on-seem sensible when not playing with big men up top. Approached changed a little when Surridge came on but that was find as suited our play.
I don't think it's as bad as people make out

People got so used to Samba's distribution it become the norm when in reality it wasn't

I don't think relying on Hennessey for a bit is going to be that much of a problem.

We're not conceding many shots on target any more so provided that carries on then whoever is between the sticks needs to be able to claim crosses well and throw it out with some accuracy to start our counters.

Seem to remember Bowyer going in goal at Leicester too 86-ish, saved a penalty
That was my first away game - I'm sure the ref made them retake it and they then scored?? I remember after the game having to ask my dad why the Leicester fans were throwing money at us, he just told me to keep my head down!!

Agree with this. All the Football Manager types who want us to go out and sign a world class keeper to fill the void.... almost impossible to do as no club is gonna let a keeper of that quality walk away mid season.
