Does anyone know what is happening re:kit and the store. Any insights as to when it might appear? Any official communications that I might have missed?

It's amateur hour with stuff like this.

We should be painting the city red with shirts, yet no-one can get hold of one.

They sent them all back to supplier because of the quality issues
Seriously? I ask because I don't think the one I got online for my lad is as good quality as some and assumed it was a one off, have there been problems?

Yes, a lot of folk have been sendiing them back because of bobbles and snags in the fabric.

I know there's a general problem with availability of replica kits across the board, but surely Macron are no longer fit for purpose? Sizes sell out quickly and stock isn't replenished. The shirts are all different cuts. Bring back Umbro or Adidas.

That's the problem we've had. Only worn and washed 4 or 5 times but lot's of bobbles. Was in two minds whether to take it back but if others have I probably will.

When I went to buy the third shirt the person in front of me was bringing her son's home kit back, was taking ages as they couldn't work out how to refund postage too!

My mates son wore the away shirt once and took it back to replace with the third. It's made of different material to the other two, but I did hear new re-stocks of yellow and red will move to the same.

That would be nothing to do with Macron, more to do with the qty's Forest are ordering.

Took my daughter to shop today before the game for a shirt. No red kit available, 3rd kit only one kids size (kids s) so too small. Away kit about two sizes, millions of kid small and literally one or two kid xl.

As inept as the second half performance.

My youngests first game yesterday, went to get him a scarf from the club shop... only one they had was grey. He'll have to make do with a programme as a memento. Had to laugh though as the things called a "megastore" when in reality there's more Forest items for sale in the newsagents round the corner.

This is the scarf, screams Forest don't it?

Off the pitch we are wank.

Actually I'm surprised that the store still seems to be run like that corner shop. With the multi millions being bandied about it wouldn't take much to get the place sorted and really well stocked, even if we're suffering from the reported lack of kit due to Far Eastern woes.

What are the scarves like from the stalls dotted about?

I got my daughter a load of pin badges from the old boy near the rowing club. I think he had his stall there before we moved in to the city ground!

It's all about mid-table...

What makes me laugh is I’m pretty sure we have sold red scarves with some variation of “Forest”/“NFFC”/“Reds” for donkey’s years, so it’s not like they reduce in value from season to season is it?

We should have a stock of f***ing millions of red Forest scarves.

Forest leaving more money on the table again, just like with the shit catering and having no sponsor. It’s like the Doughty era all over again, but instead of ND’s generosity, it’s the PL TV money that is making us complacent commercially.

While we were desperately scrabbling around looking for shit to buy because my daughter couldn’t have a shirt we saw loads of families with kids doing the same. That was in the 10 mins we were in there. It must have been the same all day. Gif knows how much potential revenue they lost.

But I suppose it is a drop in the ocean now.

The clubs apparent frivolous attempt to maximise commercial revenue streams might not seem crucial now but this will bite us on the arse somewhere down the line.
Not having a ground big enough, catering standards, Forest merchandise, shirt sponsorship all whilst the club is currently on the crest of a wave should all be capitalised on now while the demand is high.
Massive failure.

It's almost like the club's ethos is that with the buckets of Premier League cash pouring in, the supporters aren't important any more.

Club needs to remember that when the PL cash dries up, they'll need the fans more than ever.
