Does anyone remember League 1 Derby County? (STILL the worst team in history!)

I think the 25/35% is unsecured creditors, so doesn't include HMRC.

Hard to say what the HMRC's demands are as there has just been silence on that matter from all sides. My guess is that they will want full payment but may agree to a payment plan across a number of years, but who knows?

Quantuma need paying too. The heroes.

I don't much about financial data in general, but CPLP is in the US stock exchange, so you can find some numbers there (e.g. https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/CPLP/balance-sheet?p=CPLP). But I don't know what these numbers mean, in the sense that shipping is not based on a traditional business model. Usually big ship owners have a main corporation but also several other companies linked (or not) to them. And the business structure changes constantly: in 2019 EM merged his tanker division with an American giant (Diamond Shipping), while Marinakis junior leads a different joint venture based in London.

He's certainly not the richest Greek ship owner (somewhere in the top ten, if I remember correctly). Those lists supposedly measuring a person's personal net worth (I have no idea on their accuracy), usually have EM on $700m, and I remember a table with Premier owners and their net worth, and he's at no 18, if that helps.
Trying to find out what Greek shipping owners earn and what tax they pay can take a lifetime. The Greek government has never managed it so we've got no chance.

HMRC in my experience are fair and will look to do what they can,

I fully expect HMRC to agree to a payment plan with the admins, Derby and the new owners,

further to that the payment plan will be as follows,

one single payment of 36 mil as quick as you like and we’ll say no more about it.

Max Lowe: Promoted with Forest
Phillip Cocu: Was crap, "walked away" honourably and demanded his £2.5m payoff
Wayne Rooney: Earnt millions and got them relegated
Beilek: Cost them £10m, is always injured now wants to be loaned out to a Championship side.

I’m enjoying that every time it pops up that Clowes are buying Derby, “it reads as “Clowns are in the process of buying Derby County”.

Thinking ahead, should Clowes now buy the club, at some point it will make sense for the club to buy the ground, even if the 2 owners are effectively the same person.

Two questions: how will the club afford it if sold at market price, and what view would the EFL take if it was sold at lower than market price, given they took a dim view of inflated ground prices?

They are actually comparing our new £17.5m Nigerian International striker to Connor Sammon in Mordor after Red Dawn brought him up.

Mind you, when that's the best striker you have seen at Derby - there is nothing else to compare it against I suppose.

Anyone else hoping they get lumped with Hughton? Imagine they start the season on -15 points and spend all season getting defensive draws and narrow defeats

Can just picture them lining up at home against a team like Morecambe with 2 defensive midfielders who aren't allowed to pass forwards, full backs that get fined if they venture past the half way line. At least they won't have to worry about having a bunch of 14 year old academy players on the bench since CH wouldn't entertain the idea of making a substitution anyway

At this rate the 14 year olds will be on the pitch with the bench mainly made up of year 7s

Sean Dyche would be an interesting one for them - hope he doesn't get it. Think Rosenior will - he'd be a decent appointment too in fairness.

Thinking about it I really hope Rooney has already got something lined up and Morrison goes as his assistant.
