Did anyone upload his Forest Player interview anywhere, for those of us that don't have Forest Player ?
It's on the Forest YouTube channel now.

A few ground out wins to stop the rot, and then tika taka for the rest of the season.
In all serious it will probably take until the end of the season for DF to begin to impose his style.
Will it though?
Why can't he just say to the players, "don't do that any more, do this instead"?
Probably over-simplifying things a bit but I don't see why it need take ages
Good interview. He's got my full backing! I'm glad he has a passion for the academy and bringing players through. Not too sure about the promoting from within idea with the coaches, sounds to me like he's not allowed to bring in his own coaching staff. People like Jimmy Gilligan, Gary Brazil and Steve Sutton are in their element working and developing youngsters, not coaching senior players.

Given that he is clearly friendly with Stuart Pearce and respects him, I wonder whether his photo will be up on the dressing room wall?Dougie Freedman is so meticulous with his preparations that even the black-and-white photographs on the walls of Bolton Wanderers training ground are chosen and presented with a deliberate effect in mind. The pictures are of club legends like Nat Lofthouse or sepia prints of Bolton’s first home at Pike’s Lane in 1881, emphasising the long, lauded history. The captions are typed in small print so the players have to look closely.

That would have been me. Thanks for giving it a bump. It is worth it for those who hadn't read it yet.
Hoping to get a piece together from a well respected Palace fan for @SeatPitch by the end of the week

It takes 2 years to instil your style. Doesn't it?
“We do a lot of our planning in here. This room here was a junk room. We’ve made it into a boardroom. It’s smart, a Premier League room. Parents sit in these seats. I sell them a club that is going to give their son an opportunity. I sell them an environment that enables their son the best chance to be a footballer. We coach them. We have video rooms for youngsters. We embrace education. We offer their parents a package over why Robert Hall should leave West Ham and come to us. We can’t sell them a financial package. We sell them an idea.
“We are not going to buy our way to the Premier League. We have to develop our way to the Premier League. So the environment has to be right. Behind the scenes we’ve created an environment that allows for players to flourish. If I don’t have a long-term objective than I don’t believe I’m doing my job. I have to get the place ready for success. Fans probably don’t understand that. They don’t really want to listen to that but at boardroom level they understand that. Hence the reason I’m probably they’d look at why I am still in a job.”
I hope it works out with this guy. But then we say that every time
18 months isn't a short contract
I wish him the best, but the fact that hes on such a short contract shows that Fawaz realises his itchy trigger finger is costing him a lot in compensation now.
Well we've apparently got 4 previous managers still being paid off Wes so would seem wrong.
