we should keep the logo, but replace the "Forest" (with the ****y R) with "1865"
The ****ty elongated R is/was there for copyright reasons.

Nah. I work right next to the proposed Eastside development and the space the new ground would fill is quite a way from the Grantham Canal. It would be right beside the Grantham train line, on the site of a presently listed derelict building frequented by druggies.
May I therefore suggest we replace the 'wavey' Trent with a needle and a choo choo.
Don't think the needle is needed... it kinda works with tracks

Would you prefer with a train?

I'm that bored with us not having signed or looking like signing anyone, that just thought I'd say how never really liked Forest's badge and which it was something different, as of course it was back in the day. Have just never liked the wavy lines under the tree and the stupid long, kick on the 'R'. Do you like it? If you don't, what would you prefer?
The tree and the trent. Perfect.
The three best club badges in English football are ours, Sheffield Wednesday's and, I hate to say it but it has to be said, D*rby's.
All done in a similar style; a simple, yet instantly recognisable outline. We should be proud of our badge and treasure it for a long time. I hope they never try to alter it and ruin it, like Liverpool have with theirs.

I love the badge and hope they never change it!
I loke it as it's so unique, no other badge like it ! A lot of clubs have a shield / crest / lion / football /bird etc but a red tree..... love it !
BTW, that "R" is the most ingenious part of the crest that concentrated every special aspect about the club, don't even think about to question its existence.
Can you not just reply to everything in one post?
