So, PVH should rot in hell for going on strike, but Yohanne Wissa is a good shout for Forest after withdrawing his labour at his current employer's?I wouldn’t rule us out going back in for him on Monday
Don't sign contracts which you aren't prepared to honour.Wissa has gone a nuclear on Brentford via a public statement. What a mess, hasn’t exactly created a great image for himself.
I think the Newcastle fans were chanting ‘Wissa is a c**t” at Leeds last night….
Oh wait I misheard it was ‘Isak is a c**t’, presumably because he released a statement saying Newcastle had failed to comply with promises.
Yeah, I think as football fans we almost always see it from a club's perspective but loyalty is a 2 way street. To be fair, Wissa does say he has it in writing they would let him leave if a reasonable offer comes in so you could say in regards to the club don’t write it down if you aren’t going to honour it as well.
Isak’s accusation was based on trust me bro, they told me I could go.

Same hereI wouldn’t rule us out going back in for him on Monday
When Van Hooijdonk was screwing us over, it was suggested that the whole league lump in to pay off his transfer fee. Then Forest toss the dirt bag in the reserves or never play him through his whole contract. Nip it in the bud. We should have done itThe best thing for football right now is that we keep Isak and Brentford keep Wissa, and both players are allowed to rot for a bit. This "player power" shite needs to be well and truly ejected into the sun.
Unfortunately at least one of the transfers will go through and players will try this more and more in future windows.
Reasonable without a context is a weasel wordTo be fair, Wissa does say he has it in writing they would let him leave if a reasonable offer comes in so you could say in regards to the club don’t write it down if you aren’t going to honour it as well.

It’s difficult to quantify ‘reasonable’ in law, particularly in the context of footballers as values fluctuate around performance, market conditions, demand etc etc so imo ‘reasonable’ is too generic and unhelpfulWas thinking the same, Cap. Reasonable is subjective without further context.
