what forest songs do you know

Rich

Rice IV
The song in question goes:

Crying, "Cockles and mussels, alive, alive, oh!"

So maybe something that fits that a bit better!

In Dublins fair city
Where the result will be pretty
We made enough noise, like we're playing at home
We wheeled our Red Barrow
Through Streets broad and narrow
Crying Tyson and Earnie, For-est boys oh

Steve Chettle
And it's hi ho, We hate Derby
Everywhere we go, there's aggro
I see the Sheep are running
To get away from us
Because they're scared of us

Those were the days my friend,we took the Stretford End,
We took the North Bank and the Popside too.
Wed sing the songs we choose, wed fight and never lose,
Those were the days,oh yes those were the days.
La la la la la la etc

Here’s one I remember from when Dean Saunders played for Derby which rather amused me at the time:

Deano is a Flintstone,
Deano is a Flintstone,
La la la la,
La la la la.

Then later in the same game:

Deano’s shagging Wilma,
Deano’s shagging Wilma,
La la la la,
La la la la.

She wore a scarlet ribbon in the merry month of may,
I asked, her why she worn that ribbon,
She said its for a Forest fan who’s going to Wembley.
Wembley, Wembley,
We're all pissed up and were gonna win the cup.
Wembley, Wembley

Blue Moon,
you started singing too soon,
but now your day dreams are gone,
‘cos Psycho's made it one – none.

Hi-ho we hate Derby, everywhere we go now baby,
I see your bruises shining and your face all red.
Newark Mafia.

Joe Baker was King you cant use someone elses name in his song.

It's Baggio

John Robertson
It's definitely Ian Moore.

Ian Storey-Moore and Kevin Hector were each sides top striker at the time.

Berty Mee said to Bill Shankly,
have you heard of the north bank highbury
No said Bill, I don't think so
But I heard of the Trent End Boot Boys

On promotion day last season, got the bus from bridgford into town and a load of old boys got on in the meadows singing this. Pure class. Loved it.

Can't believe the Brian Rice song hasn't got a mention yet

Every time I hear it I'm still surprised when I hear the Kop sing "We hate Nottingham Forest, We hate Everton too (they're shit!), We hate Man United,
But Liverpool we love you."
We've not 'competed' against them for God knows how many years, but they still hate us!!

well apart from the obvious choices such as "we hate derby,we hate derby" and "nottingham, nottingham" what other forest songs do you know I  thought it would be a luagh to bang up the chants as I have noticed some of the older chants people either dont use anymore or get halfway through and seem to mime  :D :D. also put some of the crap songs you have heard over the years that sometimes get sang by around 10 people on away days lol.

example of crap song from sheff utd away around 10 years ago, "we are the famous red and white from the city ground nottingham, from the city ground of, from the city ground of........"

a song I aint heard since I was stood in trent end as a lad "oh when the reds, go marching in, oh when the reds go marching in, I want to be in that number oh when the reds go marching in"one song I have never figured out  the words to since I was a nipper is the "my old man, he was a derby fan" so someone fill the blanks lol
I was at the Sheff Utd game, I still find myself singing that song to myself occasionally
My son sings oh when the reds, being 10 though, very few ever join in

When ever Forest conceded a goal, the Trent End used to come up with the old promise to any visisting fans..........

''You're gonna get your f--ing heads kicked in''

Many the times they were as good as their word
