06/07 - 49 points

05/06 - 50 points

04/05 - 50 points (Forest went into oblivion with 44 points)

03/04 - 50 points

02/03 - 50 points (Forest in play-off's just prior to the family silver being sold by Doughty)


Think we can safely say 50 points is the magical barrier required.

46 games = 1.086 points required each game.

Current return - 5pts from 8 games = 0.625

0.625 over the season equates to 28.75 points.

FACTS - UPDATE!

5 Points from 10 games. Hellooooo!!!

We are now 18 points adrift of the summit.

As previously stated, we require 1.08 points every game to survive.

Our current return is 0.5 per game.

At the current standard of play we will only return 23 points. Not even half way to survival!

We now require 45 points from the remaining 36 games.  Thats 1.25 points per game.

So, even if we went unbeaten to the end of the season we can still be relegated to the third tier of dire English dross football.

Wake up Forest fans!!!

The division is "officially" tighter and more competitive than ever. Seeing as 52 points took Fester down last season, we have to be targeting 53 minimum.

48 from the remaining 36 games means 1.33 points a game from now all the way to the end of the season, just to survive. Already that sounds a lot
