Hes got nice feet and looks a good player in a league where hes given a fair bit of time. No idea how he would cope in the prem where the last thing you have as a forward is time, but he certainly looks to have the raw materials and in 23 so hes within the Danelaw. He one of those ones that if it came off could be worth a shedload after a couple of years...

I like the look of him and I've seen anything between £8m and £12m quoted which doesn't feel excessive, compared to the £20m+ for that Okafor, you could get Castellanos and Davis for that and probably have change.

I agree, and frankly if we are spraying around 100M this summer at Mr Marinakis request I think taking a punt on a striker like this with plenty of potential upside seems a decent gamble.

We will need 2 strikers at least, and that doesn't including bringing Davis back.

We could maybe get away with 1 + Davis but I think we would need more.

This. The key to establishing ourselves in this league is scoring goals. There is no getting around the fact that we'll need two big signings upfront.

I would be happy with Davis, Broja & a more a risky signing. Maybe the guy from Salzburg ahead of this guy? Not really bothered.

Oh it's a tough life planning for the Premier League.

5 subs would dictate 2 of them will probably be strikers coming off the bench every game considering the way we play. It's why I like the guy from Salzburg (however reliable that link is?) because he looks like he can drop wide as well.

I think Okafor and Castellanos can both pull wide, tbh I'd probably edge towards this lad a bit more, seems to have more of a strikers instinct and looks very good in the air plus the whole reported £10m+ price difference. Also on a purely selfish note I'm still desperate for a South American cult hero striker.

I'm liking the Salzburg fella and this chap. Add those to Davies and we've got options up front, one is bound to fail so we are hedging our bets.

There's no replacement for firepower so get a few in.

It's all irrelevant because we are hijacking the Haaland deal. That's why City haven't announced it yet.

Nottingham's dirty secret
I have a feeling, based on nothing whatsoever, that we might announce this chap tomorrow.

I know that Nuno that I know that Nuno that I know
Would replace Zinckernagel as the Totty signing.

New York City game v Dallas kicks off at 11am here...scouting report incoming.

He's scored four in his last two games...don't think we'll sign him, but interested to see what the hype is about.

Thought the resurgence of this thread meant some movement. Was expecting 'Gone Soton' as I am guessing that is the new 'gone Leicester '
