Maybe Olympiakos ffp issues are more acute than ours?
No, we don't have ffp issues; as I've said more than once we are ffp's poster boys: UEFA has used us more than once in ffp seminars. The lack of CL revenue and several bad transfer decisions means we have a funding problem, but that's not the same as ffp problems.

Hi mate.

How has our promotion and recent media coverage been taken in Greece, assuming its spoken about?

I often wonder how were viewed by Olympiacos fans to be honest.
Originally, there was only some mild discontent for the over-exposure of Forest in media, especially Marinakis-owned media. Now, it's the moaning season (deservedly so, considering the state of our club), so the discontent has turned to anti-EM tirades for the wrong reasons in some circles (ah, now he cares only the new favourite toy and he's forgotten about us).

This has been discussed over and over again in other topics. There are idiots everywhere, and some they blame EM for being involved more in NFFC as the reason for the issues we have. As time goes by more and more understand there is no truth in it. People actually were really happy for forest's promotion and we watched your Wembley final with a lot of anticipation. After that the club got into a lot of turbulence and many had to find a reason for all that was happening this summer to our club. But Forest was neither the question nor the answer to our problems and this is getting acknowledged slowly. There are still idiots believing this but who cares.

We got serious issues in our organisation that need to be resolved. None is related to Forest.

Regarding this Korean as GBG said above, the club has denied there is any truth in this story.

We wish and hope the best to Forest as we had in the past. But we also demand and wait for changes that slowly look to take place.

We are playing in Europa League playoffs this week and we are concerned about this and the transfers under way.

Just to mention that Olympiakos started to have issues last year, before you got promoted. At that time the same idiots were accusing EM for being involved more and spending more on his TV and media businesses. Which was also completely BS.

Perhaps if we won't solve our problems after media and Forest they will blame him for building ships or meeting with aliens

Understand all that mate.

But I feel you are underestimating the global enormity of our English 1st division.

To a wealthy businessman like EM, it's not just the money, it's about fame and notoriety.

He wants statues of himself along with Brian Clough and Robin Hood in Nottingham UK.

Fans, eh?

When Nigel Doughty owned us, fans would often criticise him for spending his money on charities or putting his time into politics. I recall at one time he v was also under duress for his venture fund investing in Sports TV startup, Sentanta.

Fawaz, who was the next owner, was criticised for being too involved. Although his meddling, in the end, was in lieu of actual investment.

On field matters always find their way back to the owners. Yesterday, it took about 30 mins before Man Utd's woes were being blamed in the owners, again. Lack of v investment, poor organisational appointments and poor spending decisions.

It's always coming if the football's going sour.

He can do both. He is not a 9-5 working hero. He has many businesses for decades run at the same time. It's not about priority but about right decisions taken timely. The problems we have right now are coming from the restructuring of the club both in management and squad. That won't happen over a night and people should know that. But we are living in an impatient world now.

EM is involved in Olympiakos this period more than in NFFC. He spends more time while in NFFC there is a proper structure and responsibilities in place and his management is more strategic now there.

The pockets are different and the markets are different. Discussions with agents could be the same and in parallel. But other than that nothing more.

We lost several people this summer. CEO, sports director, scouters and he has to find the proper people to appoint. That's not easy. He doesn't trust also easily the unknown. So there is not a question about if he will make it or not but if he will do that soon enough to avoid losing this season's goals.

You have to understand that no matter how he values NFFC and his implication in PL football, he is a guy that was born and raised in our locker room. His passed away father, who adored him and valued him at the greatest, was a VP of olympiakos and member of the board and EM was raised in the club and he is a fan more than the most probably.

He will make it but the question is whether he will do that soon enough or not

Oddly, O'Rourke corroborates the story, but the French press claim he does not to come to Greece and than another French team is close to signing him.

Sauce salad?
My guess is that he won't sign for either. Both Forest and Wolves can do better.
Ive never thought he was coming to us - thought we were flexing to get MGW, which worked. Has some decent stats/qualities though so would be a decent squad player for someone.

Can't say I'm particularly bothered about this one. Would much prefer Maupay
Apples and oranges: Maupay is meant for you, Hwang for us (a gift to the poor Greek cousin).

According to the Greek press, it's either Wolves or us (on loan from you).

The deal is still on according to the French press, because the player got convinced to come to us (as a loan from you).
