Hell of a change on their forum - from being "weak as piss" is now wanted on a perm by many fans

Wilder: "I was really, really impressed. Tyler's been great around the place. He’s another one who's had a difficult start to his Sheffield United life, career, but gives everything in training. Yet again, the door opens.

I thought his performance was excellent. Tyler got exposed at the start of the season. The focus went on him, and a lot of criticism and negativity went his way. But from his first action on Saturday, a brave diving header, I thought his partnership with Japh was really good and if Mark doesn't make it, then Tyler gets that opportunity. Hopefully he grabs it..."

Apparently the blunts are interested in buying him to free up a loan space and get him permanently. Seems an oddly quick change in position considering they were all slating the lad earlier in the season?

I don't think they need to free up a loan space, they can name 5 in the matchday squad and Godfrey hasn't played for them since October who is one of the 5 they have on loan. Don't see them having the funds to pay what we would want either.

I think a lot of the criticism came from a bigoted perspective. They were waiting to stick the knife and go way over the top because of the way he speaks and a narrative that he's gay.

That's Sheff Utd fans for you though. By and large, horrible backwards twats.

Good performance again apparently in the win over Stoke, fans a loving him now he's a starter - though I did shake my head a bit when one poster declared him a prem class player who will only get better, so they should offer 5m for him on a perm...
Thanks - he definitely has potential and glad he’s had another good game.

Gave away a penalty and scored an own goal in the Wrexham defeat that I watched, it was a crazy game.

Think there have been a few questions marks over some of his defending but you'd expect that from a 20yr old.

Sounds like he may well make the grade in time...

He's the same age as Zac Abbot and has more experience, goals and games in league one , championship and on international stage . I think we should bring him to the city ground next season as a squad player / back up and send Zac out on loan to see how he performs at other team(s).

Both are still young and too inexperienced for the premier league. They would both benefit from a loan next season and playing regularly, especially Zac who desperately needs some game time.

Virgil van Dijk was 22 when he signed for Celtic and 24 when he joined Southampton. Abbott and Bindon are only 19 and 20. They have plenty of time, but need to be playing.

He'll be good for us next season in Championship

That was my point about Tyler , although he's young, he's has be playing regularly for lower league teams and at international stage and even received the player of the season award at Reading . Impressive for a 18/19 year old at the time.

With that experience, I feel he is better to have in the squad as a backup player than Zac , who definitely needs experience on loan somewhere else.
