The club has been hollowed out so much over the years by its incessant appetite for exposure and domination, it is now just a hologram.

That and they've got shit players.
They really don't. Eriksen was brilliant at Brentford last season (because he was in a good team with a good team spirit)

De Gea. Rashford is a bad player overnight? Sancho was incredible for Dortmund. Bruno Fernandes looks a shadow of his former self. He's not shit though. They have a legend in Ronaldo who is still capable of scoring goals like he did last season (top scorer for United).

On paper Brentford have less quality. There's just no spirit or togetherness in United's team. Dysfunctional with low morale.

Ronaldo's agent will have sent that transfer request after the second goal ... no way he's staying there.

FUN FACT!!!

The new Man Utd manager is actually just called Erik Hag but adopted the "Ten" in between as a kind of hedge-your-bets epithet as to either the number of points Man Utd will score or the number of games before he's sacked!

Erik ten Weeks.

That's what I'm going for if we're doing another sweepstake anyway :)

The fear factor has completely gone hasn't it

I wouldn't be shocked if they end up finishing bottom half.

Manyoo to be relegated

United need a season where they clear out and rebuild and they have to accept they'll have a terrible season while they transition. The idea that you can dismantle and rebuild a team seamlessly is foolish, we're going to find it tough but at least we're not expecting to challenge to the title - even when Fergie or Cloughie or Paisley was in their pomp they had to stomach downturns before their new sides gelled.

I knew that man talked some shit, but...

He’s one of the most out of touch men on the planet, that probably proves it. Frank is on my top 3 football walkers list behind Heckingbottom & Russell Martin.

He is actually good at his job unlike the other two though which probably makes him more of a wanker. I want to like Brentford but I can’t do it.
