I think the only question is how will he fit into City's system

They have played without a striker for the past 2 years

Spot the difference in the new Crystal Palace logo:

The foundation year of 1905 has been replaced by 1861, following extensive research by the club's historian.

The updated logo is identical to the previous version in every sense apart from the year that is shown at the centre. The year 1905 was when the professional football club was formed, but the original Crystal Palace Cricket Club was founded almost 50 years prior to this in 1857. Club historian, Peter Manning, traced the history of the early days of the cricket club and found that some of its members founded an amateur football team in 1861.

The new 2022-23 Premier League ball has been released.

I do hope they’ve made more than one.

Having all those X's on the ball is going to make Spot The Ball a nightmare.

Man Utd are skint

By the way, how low do you have to be as a person to film this and then upload it. The new CEO has taken time to have a drink with you and you do this.

Well the reason the CEO went there in the first place was to head off a protest they had planned AT HIS HOUSE. Seriously….

I think that tells you everything about the person who filmed this…

And said CEO has only been in office for a few months, taking over from the deeply unpopular Ed Woodward, who presided over an absolutely shambolic shitshow that seemed to be nothing more than a scam to bleed money out of the club for the Glazer family, which is what a large number of Man U supporters are unhappy about.

They’ve lost their way a bit as a Club and are banking on Erik ten Hag to sort that for them.

The sheer entitlement of Man United fans, Christ. Marching on the CEO's house full of Amstel because they've finished 5th a few times?

Imagine how they'd handle a few years in the lower leagues.

It's all about mid-table...
It looks like Chelsea are loaning Lukaku back to Inter Milan for £7m for the year.

Given that they paid Inter £97.5m for him just last summer, they've effectively paid £90m just to loan him for the season!

Wotta state of affairs, and Bury football club cant function for their supporters.

I find it highly amusing that the Inter Ultras have issued a statement about it.

I find it much more amusing that they have indicated that he is not to be made welcome.

Wasn't he getting monkey chants and bananas thrown at him in Italy? Surprising he wants to go back really.

I really hope that without Abramovich bankrolling them they struggle. They probably won't, but we can hope. A few more disastrous transfers like this one and fingers crossed it might happen!

The loan system really needs to be looked at though. I know we benefited from it last year, but how teams like Chelsea can have 40-50 players out on loan is ludicrous. You can only have a squad of 25 (maybe it's risen now with the increased amount of subs) so how can teams have that many professional footballers on their books? They need to limit the amount of players (professional and youth) that can be employed at a football club to stop clubs like Chelsea just hoovering up all the talent, never play them, loaning them out forever and then making huge profits on them when they've done very little to develop them.

Doesn't seem like a coach type. For me coaching was always his worst attribute. Along with his management of people.

His idea was always good, he could just never get his players to do what he wanted them too.

He would be a better Director of Football.
