Been with Sky Sports since the start (1992). Why they show loyalty to him is beyond me.
He's done his time, more so now after his comments about the Hillsborough disaster a couple of days ago. Lifeless monotone dinosaur. Sky Sports need to recruit Jim Beglin or Jon Champion. But personally, Peter Drury is the main man when it comes to commentating.

He should have been sacked or laid off when they let fans back in after covid.
It is genuinely embarrasing how little enthusiasm he shows, he was made 20,000x worse when there was no crowds and he was not bothered by the games one bit.
When I think of football under covid, I just think of Martin Tyler droaning to fake crowd noise. I don't know anybody that actually likes his commentary.
Granted, I don't like many commentators but he's the worst.

I don't mind any commentators that just enjoy the games. I like Jon Champion & Aly McCoist together for that reason as well.
